Notice altering Day for closing Shops in Borough of Cambridge.

WHEREAS the Cambridge Borough Council has, under the provisions of section 3 of “The Shops and Shop-assistants Act Amendment Act, 1895,” by special resolution, appointed Wednesday to be the closing-day in the Borough of Cambridge, in substitution for Saturday:

Now, therefore, I, James McGowan, acting for and on behalf of the Minister of Labour, do hereby notify that Wednesday has been substituted for Saturday as the day upon which all shops in the said Borough of Cambridge shall be closed.
