SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 3600, in red (Mead Settlement), Block XIII., Selwyn Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 1 of Block XIII., Selwyn District, 600 links; towards the north-east by the said Section No. 1, 988·8 links; towards the south-east by a road-line, 675·8 links; and towards the south-west by the Rakaiia Ridge Road, 677·8 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a public-school site.
All that area in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 3601, in red (Mead Settlement), Block X., Selwyn Survey District, Bounded towards the north-west by rural Section No. 28859, 465·4 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 2 of Block X., Selwyn Survey District, 250 links; towards the south-east by the said Section No. 2, 334·5 links; and towards the south-west by the Terrace Road, 282·1 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a gravel reserve.
All that area in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 3602 in red (Mead Settlement), Block IX., Selwyn Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 2 of Block IX., Selwyn Survey District, 427·3 links; towards the north by the Terrace Road, 424·8 links; towards the east by Section No. 4 of the said Block IX., 400 links; and towards the south by the said Section No. 4, 575·2 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19268, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a gravel reserve.

Temporarily reserving Lands in the Southland Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 20 acres and 31 perches, more or less, being Section No. 39, Block I., Aparima Hundred. Bounded towards the north by a public road and by Allotment No. 26 (Land Transfer Plan No. 120), 1591 links; thence towards the east by the said Allotment No. 26, 1627·6 links; thence towards the south by Allotment No. 27, 890·6 links; and thence towards the south-west by a closed road now included in the said Allotment No. 27, 1772 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49906, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red. For a quarry reserve.
All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres and 32 perches, more or less, being Section No. 39, Block II., Waikawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 1955·2 links; thence towards the south-east generally by a public road, 1260 links; thence towards the south by Section No. 38 of the said Block II., 1233·5 links; and thence towards the west by a public road, 1280·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49572, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red. For a school-site.
All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 199A, Oreti Hundred. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road, 900·6 links; thence towards the north-east by a public road, 1151·3 links; and thence towards the south by Section No. 199 in the said Hundred, 1261·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49907, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a gravel reserve.

Bounded towards the north-west by a road-line, 800 links; thence towards the north-east by a road-line, 3080 links; and thence towards the south-west by part of Section No. 17 of Block IV., Maerewhenua Survey District, 2950 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 26236, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red. For water-supply for Borough of Oamaru.
