For public recreation.

Land temporarily reserved in the Marlborough Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Marlborough Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 25 acres, more or less, being Section No. 7, Block III., Mount Olympus Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 1020 links; thence towards the south-east and south by road reserve 2 chains wide fronting Wairau River and Top Valley Creek; and thence towards the north-west by a public road 2351·6 links and 852 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19221, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red. For accommodation-house and post-office site.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and three.
