Lands temporarily reserved in the Nelson Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

NELSON.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 16 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 75 and 76, Town of Brighton. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 74, Town of Brighton; towards the south-east by Section No. 1r; towards the south-west by Section No. 77; and towards the north-west by New Street: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49783, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For general utility.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 83, Village of Birchfield. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 37, Block II., Kawatiri Survey District, 673 links; thence towards the south-east by Section No. 38, Block II., Kawatiri Survey District, 500 links; and thence towards the south-west by a public road, 450 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49783A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For general utility.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 3 perches, more or less, being Section No. 238, Town of Black’s Point. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road, 121 links; thence towards the north-east by a public road, 603 links; thence towards the south by a public road, 165 links; and thence towards the south-west by a public road along the bank of the River Inangahua, 485 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49783B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a site for a public school.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 11A, Block V., Inangahua Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road along the bank of the River Inangahua, 223 links; thence towards the south-east by Section No. 23, 200 links; thence towards the south-west by Section No. 11, 200 links; and thence towards the north-west by the said Section No. 11, 300 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49783C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a site for a public school.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 47, Block XI., Mawheraiti Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 8, 391 links; thence towards the south-east by the said Section No. 8, 512 links; thence towards the south-west by a public road, 391 links; and thence towards the north-west by a public road, 512 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49783D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a site for a public school.

Bounded towards the north-east by a public road along the bank of the Matakikaki River, 585 links; thence towards the south-east by Crown lands, 875 links; thence towards the south-west by Crown lands, 583 links; and thence towards the north-west by Crown lands, 875 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49783E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. Bounded towards the north by Boundary Road; towards the east by Bridge Street; towards the south by right-of-way; and towards the west by Walsh Street. For municipal purposes.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 20 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1302, 1303, 1304, 1305, 1306, and 1307, Town of Reefton.
