Lands set apart for Lease as Village Settlements in the Wellington Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-sixty-eighth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the allotments of Crown land respectively described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for lease as village settlements.

Setting apart Land in Auckland Land District for Leasing as Small Grazing-runs under “The Land Act, 1892.”

A PROCLAMATION.
By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one-hundred-and-seventy-second section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one hundred and seventy-two to one hundred and eighty-six of Part V. of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to small grazing-runs.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Rotorua County.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Blocks IV. and VIII., Tarawera Survey District, and Blocks I. and V., Ruawahia Survey District, containing by admeasurement 7,500 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Te Haehaenga No. 5 Block; towards the east generally by a road, 100 links wide, running along the north-eastern bank of the Tarawera River, and by the Pokohu A Block; towards the south-east by part of the north-western boundary of the Ruawahia No. 2 Block for a distance of 19000 links or thereabouts; thence towards the south-west by a line at right angles to the said boundary; towards the north-west by a road, 100 links wide, running along the shore of Tarawera Lake; again towards the south-west generally by the said road, by a Native reserve, again by said road, by the crossing of the Tarawera River, again by said road, by a Native reserve, and again by said road; and again towards the north-west by a Native reserve and the Okataina and Oruaroa-o-Rangi Blocks to the point of commencement.
Whakatane County.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Block XVI., Rotoma Survey District; Block XIII., Rangitaiki Upper Survey District; Block IV., Ruawahia Survey District; and Block I., Rangitaiki Lower Survey District; containing by admeasurement 5,232 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by the northern portion of the Putauaki No. 2 Block; towards the south-east by the Matahina A No. 2 and A No. 3 Blocks; towards the south-west by the southern portion of the Putauaki No. 2 Block and the Pokohu D and Pokohu No. 1 Blocks; and towards the north-west by a road, 100 links wide, running along the south-eastern bank of the Tarawera River to the point of commencement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Blocks XV. and XVI., Rotoma Survey District, and Blocks IX. and XIII., Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, containing by admeasurement 8,000 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north generally by part of the southern boundary of Block XI., Rotoma Survey District, and by Section No. 39A of the Parish of Matata; towards the south-east generally by a road, 100 links wide, running along the western bank of the Tarawera River, by Section No. 67 of the Parish of Matata, and again by said road along the western bank of the Tarawera River; and towards the south and west by the confiscation boundary-line to the point of commencement: save and except Sections Nos. 39, 106, and 107 of the Parish of Matata from the area herein-before described.
East Taupo County.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Blocks XI., XIV., and XV., Tatua Survey District, and Blocks II. and III., Tauhara Survey District, containing by admeasurement 10,350 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the east by the eastern portion of the Tauhara North Block; towards the south by the Tauhara Middle No. 4A Block and by a line from the north-western angle of that block to the south-eastern angle of Section No. 4 of Block II., Tauhara Survey District; towards the west generally by the last-mentioned section, by the Patuiwi Native Reserve, by a road 100 links wide running along the eastern bank of the Waikato River, by the Otumataka Stream, by Sections Nos. 1 and 2 of Block XIV., Tatua Survey District, and by the Huka Falls Stream; and towards the north-west by a road, 100 links wide, running along the south-eastern bank of the Waikato River to the point of commencement.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in Blocks II., III., VI., and VII., Tatua Survey District, containing by admeasurement 8,938 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by a road, 100 links wide, running along the south-western bank of the Waikato River; towards the east by the Orakonui Stream; towards the south generally by the Tahorakuri and Te Hukui South Blocks; and towards the north-west generally by the Tihiotonga and Tutukau East B Blocks to the point of commencement.

Proclaiming the Taking of Land for a Road in Whaiti Kuranui No. 1a Block, Patetere North-east Survey District, Piako County.
RANFURLY, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owners of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Piako County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as a road the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
