THE following special order, made by the Upper Wangaehu Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

UPPER WANGAEHU ROAD BOARD.—SPECIAL ORDER No. 3.
Notice is hereby given that the following resolution has been passed by the above Board:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £70, authorised to be raised by the Upper Wangaehu Road Board, under the provisions of ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,’ being a 10-per-cent. loan on the original £700 metalling loan for the main road, the said Upper Wangaehu Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2½d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property within the Upper Wangaehu Road District north of the Mangawhero River; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing special order was duly passed in accordance with section 75 of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” at a special meeting of the Upper Wangaehu Road Board held at Mangamahu on Saturday, 4th October, 1902.

THE following special order, made by the Waiwakaiho Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

WAIWAKAIHO ROAD BOARD.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waiwakaiho Road Board do hereby resolve as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £440, authorised to be raised by the Waiwakaiho Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for grading, forming, and metalling on the Upper Kent Road, the said Waiwakaiho Road Board do hereby make and levy a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Upper Kent Road Special-rating District No. 2, comprising Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 126, 127, 128, 131, and 147, all in Block VI., Egmont Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I certify that the above special order was passed by the Waiwakaiho Road Board on the 9th day of September, 1902, and was duly made by the said Board on the 12th day of October, 1902, in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”
