to construct the said bridge; and I do declare that the cost
of constructing the said bridge—less such amount by way of
contribution as may be provided by Government—shall be
borne by the said County Councils in the following propor-
tions—namely, a sum of five hundred pounds shall be paid
by the Rangitikei County Council, and the balance of cost
of the said bridge—less the Government contribution afore-
said—shall be borne by the Kiwitea County Council, and
such proportions shall be paid by the said local authorities
accordingly.
SCHEDULE.
The bridge over the Rangitikei River known as the Manga-
rere Bridge, situated on the Mangarere Road; as the site of
the said bridge is delineated on the plan marked R. 3002,
deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
marked in red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and two.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries
Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
JOHN GROVES
to be a Trustee, in the place of Andrew G. Curle, resigned,
to provide for the maintenance and care of the Whanga-
momona Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other
persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Go-
vernor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and two.

Amending the Description of a Reserve in the Nelson Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-ninth sec-
tion of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that
where there has been any error of description made in any
notification of any intended reserve, or where there appears
a great discrepancy in the area of any intended reserve
after the same shall have been surveyed, the Governor may
cancel any notification that may have been made in respect
of such reserve, and issue fresh notification in respect
thereof, with amended particulars and description: And
whereas an error was made in the description of Section
No. 5, Block VI., Kawatiri Survey District, Nelson Land
District, in the Warrants of the sixth day of December, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, and the fourth
day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
eight, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 101, of the
ninth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-seven, and No. 9, of the tenth day of February, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, respectively, re-
serving the land for public recreation; and it is expedient
to cancel the said notifications so far as they relate to
Section No. 5, Block VI., Kawatiri Survey District, afore-
said:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke the Warrants of the sixth day of December, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, and the fourth
day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
eight, in so far as they relate to Section No. 5, Block VI.,
Kawatiri Survey District, and do declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart as a
reserve for public recreation, being the land intended to be
reserved by the said notifications.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Nelson Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less, being Sec-
tion No. 5, Block VI., Kawatiri Survey District. Bounded
towards the north, east, south, and west by Crown lands,
the eastern corner of said section being 1877·6 links south
and 7143·2 links east of Trig. Station H, Kawatiri Survey
District: be both the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the
same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District
Lands and Survey Office, Nelson.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and two.

and eighty-eight, respectively, reserving the land for a
gravel-pit; and it is expedient to cancel the said notifica-
tions so far as they relate to Section No. 11, Block III.,
Aorere Survey District, aforesaid:

taining by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Sec-
tion No. 1, Block IV., Aorere Survey District. Bounded
towards the north-east by part of Section No. 121, Square
No. 14, 225 links; towards the south-east by part of said
Section No. 121, 760 links; towards the south by Section
No. 83, 322 links; and towards the north-west by a public
road, 1000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less:
as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the Dis-
trict Lands and Survey Office, Nelson.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and two.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of
“The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of
Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint Friday, the nineteenth day of December,
one thousand nine hundred and two, as the time at which
the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold
by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which
the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said
Schedule.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN OF CAMBRIDGE EAST.
Lots 248, 476, 476A, each 2 roods; upset price, £10 per lot.
