Trustees for the Waitahuna Public Cemetery appointed.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Land District of Auckland.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Land District of Auckland described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 4 of Block II., Otama Survey District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 4 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by the Kuaotunu No. 2a No. 3 Block, 711 links; towards the south-east by the Kuaotunu Stream and by a line, 511 links; towards the south-west by the Kuaotunu No. 1c Block, 895 links; and towards the north-west by a line, 578 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 43036, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a cemetery reserve.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotment No. 26 of Section No. 2 of the Village of Otai, containing by admeasurement 26 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Allotments Nos. 20 and 21 of Section No. 2 of the Village of Otai; towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west by the Wairoa River; and towards the north-west by Allotment No. 27 of Section 2 aforesaid, to the point of commencement: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49117, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a recreation reserve.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotments Nos. 28, 31, and 32 of Section No. 2 of the Village of Otai, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 22 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Allotment No. 25 of Section No. 2 of the Village of Otai; towards the south-east by Allotments Nos. 29 and 30 of the said Section No. 2; again towards the north-east by the said Allotment No. 30; again towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west by the Wairoa River; and towards the north-west by a public road to the point of commencement: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49117, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a recreation reserve.

Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor by the owners of the land described in the Schedule hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of such land as set forth in the Native Land Court certificate of title bearing date the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, and now contained in partition order of the Native Land Court bearing date the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and one, may be removed: And whereas inquiry has been duly made by the Native Land Court, and the said Court has recommended that such restrictions be removed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the fifty-second section of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.” and in accordance with the recommendation of the Native Land Court, doth hereby order and declare that all restrictions imposed by the said Native Land Court certificate of title and partition order on the alienation of the said land are hereby removed.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land, containing 12 acres 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, known as Kaiti No. 313 No. 2r5, held under partition order of the Native Land Court dated the 14th November, 1901, in favour of Maata te Kani and another, and containing the following restrictions: “That the land may be leased for any term not exceeding twenty-one years, but shall be otherwise inalienable except with the assent of the Governor.”

Rural Lands in the Canterbury Land District open for Sale or Selection.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on and after the eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and two; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on lease in perpetuity, or, in respect of any land containing or supposed to contain any metal, mineral, or valuable stone, be selected on lease in perpetuity only; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”
