THE following is the number of votes recorded for each candidate at the election of three members to serve upon the Education Board of the District of North Canterbury:—

I therefore declare Mr. Henry William Peryman, Mr. Charles Henry Adolphus Truscott Opie, and Mr. Thomas William Adams to be duly elected members of the Education Board of the District of North Canterbury.
The total number of votes recorded was 2,608.
Fifty-two voting-papers, representing 154 votes, were rejected, being informal; and 22 envelopes containing voting-papers were too late for the election, not bearing the post-mark or not being delivered as required by the statute.
