A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the owners, lessees, and mortgagees, and with the consent of the Stratford County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the land hereinafter described, that is to say,—

As the same is more particularly delineated upon the plan marked as above mentioned, deposited in the District Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at New Plymouth, in the Taranaki Land District, and thereon coloured as above noted.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the seventy-third section of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901” (herein termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that, before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land, it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the block of land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Puketarata No. 3 Block (2369 acres 2 roods 38 perches).

As the same are delineated upon the plan marked as above, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above noted.
