PALMERSTON.

Palmerston District comprises the whole of Kairanga County; the whole of the Borough of Palmerston North; together with that portion of Manchester Road District of Oroua County situated south of a line commencing at the junction of Nannestad's Road with the Bunnythorpe-Feilding Railway, and proceeding north-easterly along the south side of Nannestad's Road to Reid's Line; thence south-easterly along Reid's Line to Section No. 15, Block IV., Kairanga Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of that section and the western boundary of Section No. 19 to Feilding Road; thence westerly along the Feilding Road to Penelope Road, and northerly along Penelope Road to Spur Road; thence easterly along Spur Road to the road fronting Section No. 7, Block I., Gorge Survey District; thence southerly along that road and its continuation, passing Sections Nos. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 of the said Block I., to the Township of Ashhurst; thence along lines so as to exclude the Township of Ashhurst to the Pohangina River at the easternmost corner of Section No. 464; thence southerly along the right bank of the Pohangina River to the Manawatu River, and easterly along the right bank of the Manawatu River to the south-eastern boundary of the Manchester Road District.

MANAWATU.

Manawatu District comprises the whole of Manawatu County; the whole of the Ridings of Rangitoto, Forewa, Otakapu, Maungaraupi, and Wangaehu, of Rangitikei County; and the whole of Tokomaru Riding of Horowhenua County; together with the Boroughs of Marton and Foxton. The Town Districts of Lethbridge and Bull's are in this district.

OTAKI.

Otaki District comprises the whole of Horowhenua County excepting the Tokomaru Riding; the whole of the Ridings of Whareroa and Horokiwi of Hutt County; the whole of Porirua Riding of Hutt County excepting that portion situated between the Boroughs of Petone and Onslow south-eastward of a line commencing at the north-western corner of the Borough of Petone, and proceeding westerly to the Johnsonville-Horokiwi Road, thence southerly along that road to the Town District of Johnsonville, and thence along the eastern and southern boundaries of the Town District of Johnsonville to the Borough of Onslow; together with that portion of the Borough of Karori situated north of a line commencing at the western boundary of the Borough of Karori where it is intersected by the Karori-Makara Road in Section No. 42, and proceeding thence along the western side of the Karori-Makara Road to the Karori Road; thence along the south side of the Karori Road to the western boundary of Section No. 38, Block VI., Port Nicholson Survey District; thence along the western and part of the southern boundaries of the said Section No. 38 to Section No. 9 of the said Block VI.; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section No. 9 to the Kaiwarra Stream; thence along the left bank of the Kaiwarra Stream to main road Karori to Wellington, and thence along that road to the road leading to Mitchelltown; and thence along the south side of the last-mentioned road to the eastern boundary of the Borough of Karori: the whole of the Makara Road District of Hutt County excepting that portion which is situated east of a line commencing at the mouth of the Karori Stream, and proceeding along the left bank of that stream to its confluence with the stream which intersects Section No. 1, Block IX., Port Nicholson Survey District, and thence along the left bank of the last-mentioned stream to the eastern boundary of the Makara Road District. Johnsonville Town District and Kapiti Island are in this district.

HUTT.

Hutt District comprises the whole of the Boroughs of Petone, Onslow, and Lower Hutt; the whole of the Ridings of Mungaroa, Epuni, and Wainuiomata, of Hutt County; together with that portion of the Porirua Riding of the Hutt County which is situated between the Boroughs of Petone and Onslow, south-east of a line commencing at a point where the southern boundary touches the Johnsonville Town District, touches the Borough of Onslow, and proceeding thence along the southern and eastern boundaries of Johnsonville Town District, and along the Johnsonville-Horokiwi Road towards Petone to a point nearly due west of the north-western corner of the Borough of Petone, and thence along the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 7 and 78, Block VIII., Belmont Survey District, to the Borough of Petone.

CITY OF WELLINGTON.

City of Wellington District comprises the whole of the City of Wellington excepting that portion situated south of a line commencing at the city boundary at the north-west corner of Town Acre No. 37, and proceeding thence easterly along the northern boundary-line of the said Town Acre No. 37 to Town Acre No. 685; thence northerly along the western boundary-line of the said Town Acre No. 685 to the eastern side of Bidwell Street; thence along the eastern side of Bidwell Street to Wallace Street; thence northerly along the western side of Wallace Street to Hankey Street; thence easterly along the southern side of Hankey Street and the southern boundary-line of the Mount Cook Reserve to Town Acre No. 717; thence southerly along the western boundary-line of the said Town Acre No. 717 and along the western boundary-lines of Town Acres Nos. 718 and 719, 720 and 721 to Town Acre No. 722, Oxford Road; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Town Acre No. 722 and along the south side of Oxford Road to Tasman Street; thence southerly along the east side of Tasman Street and the east side of Crawford Street to the southern boundary of Reserve No. 11; thence easterly along that boundary to Oliver Street, and thence along the north side of Oliver Street to the junction of Adelaide Road with Revans Street; thence along the east side of Revans Street to the northern boundary-line of Town Acre No. 762; thence along the northern boundary-line of the said Town Acre No. 762; and southerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Town Acres Nos. 763, 764, 765, and 766 to the northern boundary-line of Town Acre No. 769; thence easterly along the northern boundary-line of Town Acre No. 769 (Hospital Reserve boundary), across Daniell Street, along the northern boundary-line of Town Acre No. 770, near the Old Men's Home, across Owen Street, to the western boundary-line of Town Acre No. 771; thence along the western and north-western boundary-lines of Town Acre No. 771 and along the north-western boundary-lines of Town Acres Nos. 772 and 773 to Coromandel Street; thence across Coromandel Street to the western boundary-line of Town Acre No. 774; thence along the western and north-western boundary-lines of Town Acre No. 774 to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned acre; thence along the north-eastern boundary-lines of Town Acres Nos. 774 and 775 to Mein Street; and thence along the northern side of Mein Street to the eastern boundary of the City of Wellington: together with Somes Island.

NEWTOWN.

Newtown District comprises all that portion of the City of Wellington not included in the City of Wellington District hereinbefore described; the whole of the Borough of Melrose, and the whole of the Seatoun Road District; together with that portion of the Borough of Karori situated south of a line commencing at the north-western boundary of the Borough of Karori where it is intersected by the Karori-Makara Road in Section No. 42, Block V., Port Nicholson Survey District, and proceeding thence along the western side of the Karori-Makara Road to the Karori Road; thence easterly generally along the south side of the Karori Road to the western boundary of Section No. 38, Block VI., Port Nicholson Survey District; thence southerly along the western and part of the southern boundaries of the said Section No. 38 to the north-eastern corner of Section No. 9 of the said Block VI.; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section No. 9 to the Kaiwarra Stream; thence northerly along the left bank of the Kaiwarra Stream to main road Karori to Wellington, and thence south-easterly along that road to the Cemetery Road leading to Mitchelltown; and thence along the south side of the last-mentioned road to the eastern boundary of the Borough of Karori: and that portion of the Makara Road District situated east of a line commencing at the mouth of the Karori Stream, and proceeding along the left bank of that stream to its confluence with the stream which intersects Section No. 1, Block IX., Port Nicholson Survey District, and thence along the left bank of the last-mentioned stream to the eastern boundary of the Makara Road District.
