TARANAKI.

Taranaki District comprises the Borough of New Plymouth: and that portion of Taranaki County situated within the existing Taranaki Electoral District, less the area covered by Waitara West Road District: together with that portion of Egmont County situated north-west of a line commencing at the Manihi Road near the sea-coast, and proceeding easterly along that road to the Main South Road; thence northerly along the Main South Road to the Kahui Road; thence easterly along the Kahui Road to Section No. 18, Block XIV., Cape Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Sections 18, 13, 8, and 7 to Newall Road; and thence across Newall Road and along the western boundaries of Section No. 7, Block X., Cape Survey District, to Waiweranui Stream; and thence across that stream and along the western boundary of Section No. 6 to the northern boundary of Egmont County.

HAWERA.

Hawera District comprises that portion of Egmont County situated south-east of a line commencing at the Manihi Road near the coast and proceeding easterly along that road to the Main South Road; thence northerly along the Main South Road to the Kahui Road; thence easterly along the Kahui Road to Section No. 18, Block XIV., Cape Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Sections 18, 13, 8, and 7 to Newall Road, and thence across Newall Road and along the western boundaries of Section No. 7, Block X., Cape Survey District, to Waiweranui Stream; thence across that stream and along the western boundary of Section No. 6 to the northern boundary of Egmont County: also the Waimate, Mangatoki, and Okaiawa Ridings of Hawera County; that part of Eltham Riding of Hawera County lying to the south-west of a line commencing where the Mountain Road crosses the Eltham Borough boundary, and proceeding southerly along that road to Rotokare Road; thence easterly along Rotokare Road to Tiromoana Road; and thence along Tiromoana Road to the southern boundary of Eltham Riding: also that portion of Hawera Riding of Hawera County situated south-west of a line commencing at the junction of Makino Road with Whareroa Road, and proceeding southerly along Whareroa Road to Morea Road; thence north-easterly along Morea Road to Mataimaroke Road, and thence along that road to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 6, Block IV., Hawera Survey District; thence southerly along the last-mentioned road to the south-eastern boundary of Hawera Riding: also that portion of Mokoia Riding of Hawera County situated south and west of a line commencing at Kaitoke Road on the north-western boundary of Mokoia Riding, and proceeding easterly along Kaitoke Road to Meremere Road; thence southerly and westerly along Meremere Road to Noonan Road; thence westerly along Noonan Road to the Township of Mokoia; and thence along the eastern boundaries of the Township of Mokoia to the railway-line; and thence along the railway-line to the south-eastern boundary of Hawera County: together with the Borough of Hawera. The Town Districts of Opunake, Normanby, and Manaia are in this district.

PATEA.

Patea District comprises the whole of Stratford County excepting North Riding and West Riding thereof, the whole of Patea County, and that portion of Eltham Riding of Hawera County situated north-east of a line commencing where the Mountain Road crosses the Eltham Borough boundary, and proceeding southerly along that road to Rotokare Road; thence easterly along Rotokare Road to Tiromoana Road; and thence along Tiromoana Road to the southern boundary of Eltham Riding: also that portion of Hawera Riding of Hawera County situated north-east of a line commencing at the junction of Makino Road with Whareroa Road, and proceeding southerly along Whareroa Road to Morea Road; thence north-easterly along Morea Road to Mataimaroke Road, and thence along that road to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 6, Block IV., Hawera Survey District; thence southerly along the last-mentioned road to the south-eastern boundary of Hawera Riding: also that portion of Mokoia Riding of Hawera County situated north and east of a line commencing at Kaitoke Road on the north-western boundary of Mokoia Riding, and proceeding easterly along Kaitoke Road to Meremere Road; thence southerly and westerly along Meremere Road to Noonan Road; thence westerly along Noonan Road to the Township of Mokoia; thence along the eastern boundaries of the Township of Mokoia to the railway-line; and thence along the railway-line to the south-eastern boundary of Hawera County: together with the Boroughs of Stratford, Eltham, and Patea. The Town District of Waverley is in this district.

WANGAEHU.

Wangaehu District comprises the Maungahoe, Ohingaiti, Otairi, and Paraekaretu Ridings of Rangitikei County; and the whole of Wanganui County excepting the western portions of Kaitoke, Purua, and Mataongaonga Ridings, situated west of a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Run No. 15, near Wilson’s Bluff, and proceeding thence along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Run No. 15 to Section No. 258; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 258, 257, 263, and 7 to No. 1 Line; thence easterly along No. 1 Line to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 104, Block VI., Ikitara Survey District; thence northerly along that road and its continuation, passing Sections Nos. 104, 105, 106, 107, 40, and intersecting Section No. 55; thence along the southern boundary of Section No. 74, and the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 74, 75, and 73, to No. 3 Line; thence easterly along the north side of No. 3 Line to the western boundary of Section No. 272, Block II., Ikitara Survey District; thence along the western and northern boundaries of Section No. 272 to Section No. 206; thence along the western boundary of Section No. 206 to Section No. 293; thence along the southern and western boundaries of Section No. 293, and the southern, western, and northern boundaries of Section No. 359, and the western boundary of Section 354, to Kukuta Stream; and thence westerly along that stream to the Wanganui River: together with the whole of Waitotara County excepting the eastern portions of the Westmere and Brunswick Ridings, situated south and east of a line commencing at a point on the coast about a mile and a quarter north of the mouth of the Wanganui River, and proceeding thence along a right line to the southernmost corner of Section No. 232, Block V., Westmere Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 232, 233, 235, and 85, to the Great North-western Road; thence along that road to the Great Western Line, and thence along the Great Western Line to the Brunswick Line; thence easterly along the Brunswick Line to the New Missionary Line; thence along the New Missionary Line to the Mission Line; and thence along the Mission Line to the Wanganui River: and that portion of Erehwon Riding of Hawke’s Bay County not included in the Hawke’s Bay District hereinbefore described.

WANGANUI.

Wanganui District comprises the Borough of Wanganui; that portion of the Kaitoke Riding of Wanganui County situated west of a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Run No. 15, near Wilson’s Bluff on the sea-coast, and proceeding along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Run No. 15 to Section No. 258; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 258, 257, 263, and 7 to No. 1 Line; thence easterly along No. 1 Line to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 104, Block VI., Ikitara Survey District; thence northerly along that road and its continuation to the northern boundary of Kaitoke Riding; also that portion of Purua Riding situated west of a line commencing at the road between Sections 39 and 40, Block VI., Ikitara Survey District, and proceeding northerly along that road and its continuation to the northern boundary of Purua Riding: also that portion of Mataongaonga Riding situated west of Sections Nos. 293, 359, and 354, Block III., Ikitara Survey District: also that portion of Westmere Riding of Waitotara County situated east of a line drawn from the sea-coast about a mile and a quarter north of the mouth of the Wanganui River to the southernmost corner of Section No. 232, Block V., Westmere Survey District, and proceeding thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 232 and 233, 235 and 85, to the north-eastern boundary of Westmere Riding: also that portion of Brunswick Riding of Waitotara County situated east of the Great Western Line, and south of the Brunswick Line, the New Missionary Line, and the Mission Line.

OROUA.

Oroua District comprises the whole of the Counties of Kiwitea and Pohangina; the Borough of Feilding; the Town District of Halcombe; and the whole of the Manchester Road District of Oroua County excepting that portion situated
