Section No. 64, Block XII., Aroha Survey District; thence westerly along that road and its continuation to the Township of Waihou; thence by lines so as to include the Township of Waihou to Rangiatea Settlement; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Rangiatea Settlement to the Waihoa River; and thence northerly along that river to the northern boundary of Piako County. This district includes also Slipper Island.
WAIKATO.
Waikato District comprises the whole of Waipa County less the area lying in the fork of the Waikato and Waipa Rivers north-west of a line commencing at the north-western corner of Hamilton Riding, at the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 146, Pukete Parish, and proceeding thence southerly along that road and its continuation, passing Sections Nos. 136, 135, 134, 133, 132, and 210A, to Ohote Stream, and thence along that stream to the Waipa River: the Cambridge and Tamahere Ridings of Waikato County: with that portion of Kirikiriroa Riding of Waikato County situated south-east of the Hamilton-Morrinsville Railway, and that further portion of Kirikiri-roa Riding situated east of the Waikato River and south of Komakorau Parish, and west of the road commencing at the railway about a mile and a half on the Hamilton side of Ruakura Junction and running north from Section No. 238, Kirikiriroa Parish, passing Sections Nos. 192, 191, 190, 189, 188, 187, 185, 184, and that road continued northerly to Section No. 136, and thence along the road fronting Sections Nos. 136A and 137 to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 86, thence along the last-mentioned road and its continuation, passing Sections Nos. 85, 84, 80, 79, 78, 77, 74, and 73, to the southern boundary of Komakorau Parish; the Matamata and Taotaoroa Ridings of Piako County: and that portion of the Waihoa Riding of Piako County south-east of a line commencing where the road which intersects the Maunga-o-tupua Native Block crosses the western boundary of Piako County, and proceeding thence northerly along that road to the Hamilton-Te Aroha Railway; thence north-easterly along that railway to Morrinsville; thence along lines so as to exclude Morrinsville, and again to the railway-line; thence along the railway-line easterly to the crossing at the Waihoa River; and thence up that river to the boundary of Waihoa Riding: that portion of Patetere Riding of Piako County situated west of a line commencing on the south-western boundary of Piako County at the road intersecting the Tokoroa No. 1 Block, and proceeding thence northerly along that road through Te Whetu No. 1 Block and Pakuranga No. 1 Block, and round the eastern boundaries of the Township of Lichfield to the old railway-line; thence along that line northerly for about a mile and a half to the nearest road branching off to the right; thence northerly along that road across the Oraka Stream, and on to the Thames River at the Mangapouri No. 1 Block, in Block VII., Patetere North Survey District; thence northerly along the Thames River to the road intersecting the Tuaraparaharaha No. 2 Block; thence easterly along that road and its continuation, and along the road leading to Tauranga which crosses the Piako County boundary in the Whaiti Kuranui No. 6B Block: the Karioi, Karamu, and Pirongia Ridings of Raglan County: and that portion of Te Akau Riding of Raglan County situated south of the Rangikahu Stream; that portion of Waingaro Riding of Raglan County situated south of Te Puke Stream, Te Hui Stream, and Mangakara Stream; the whole of Kawhia County less that portion situated west of Mangaotaki River, and south of a line drawn from the source of that river to Tirua Point; and that portion of Clifton County not absorbed by the Egmont District hereinafter described; together with the whole of the County of West Taupo, and the Boroughs of Hamilton and Cambridge. The Town Districts of Kihikihi and Te Awamutu are in this district.
BAY OF PLENTY.
Bay of Plenty District comprises the whole of the Counties of Tauranga, Rotorua, East Taupo, Whakatane, and Opotiki, and the Boroughs of Waihi and Tauranga, together with the Waihi Riding of Ohinemuri County, and that portion of Patetere Riding of Piako County not included in the Waikato District hereinbefore described, and Motiti Island. The Town District of Opotiki is in this district.
WAIA PU.
Waiapu District comprises the whole of the Counties of Cook and Waiapu and the Borough of Gisborne.
HAWKE’S BAY.
Hawke’s Bay District comprises the whole of Wairoa County, the whole of Hawke’s Bay County excepting—(1) Meanee Riding: (2) portion of Erehwon Riding situated west of a line commencing at the county boundary on the summit of the Ruahine Range, and proceeding northerly along the summit
of that range over Otupae Trig. to the Taruarua River, and thence along the Taruarua River to the northern boundary of Hawke’s Bay County: (3) that portion of Clive Riding situated north of the Ngaruroro River, and north-east of a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section No. 35, and proceeding thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Section No. 35 and the eastern boundary of Section No. 9, thence along the northern boundary of Sections Nos. 22 and 8, West Clive Suburban, thence southerly along the road leading to the Township of Clive, and thence along the south-western boundary of the Township of Clive, and thence to the Tuki Tuki River: and (4) that portion of Petane Riding at the Spit included in the existing Electoral District of Napier; also the Oero Riding of Patangata County; also the whole of Patangata Riding of Patangata County excepting that portion lying south of the Waipawa-Taumumu Road; also that portion of Waipawa Riding of Waipawa County situated north of a line commencing at the road leading westerly from the Township of Kaikora, intersecting Blocks 51, 49, 18, 180, 15, 142, 131, 17, 21, 23, to the Manga-o-nuku River, thence northerly along the right bank of the Manga-o-nuku River to its confluence with the Mangamouku River, and thence along the right bank of the Mangamouku River to the western boundary of Waipawa Riding. This district comprises also the Boroughs of Napier and Hastings. Portland Island and the Town Districts of Kaikora North and Clyde are in this district.
NAPIER.
Napier District comprises the whole of the existing Electoral District of Napier, together with that portion of Clive Riding of Hawke’s Bay County situated north of the Ngaruroro River, and north-east of a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section No. 35, and proceeding southerly along the eastern boundary of Section No. 35 and the eastern boundary of Section No. 9, thence along the northern boundary of Sections 22 and 8, West Clive Suburban, thence southerly along the road leading to the Township of Clive, and thence along the south-west boundary of the Township of Clive, and thence to the Tuki Tuki River; also that portion of the Meanee Riding of Hawke’s Bay County situated south of and adjoining the existing Napier Electoral District. Taradale Town District is in this district.
WAIPAWA.
Waipawa District comprises the whole of Waipawa County, less the northern portion of Waipawa Riding, situated north of a line commencing at the road leading westerly from the Township of Kaikora, intersecting Blocks 51, 49, 18, 180, 15, 142, 131, 17, 21, and 23, to the Manga-o-nuku River; thence northerly along the right bank of the Manga-o-nuku River to its confluence with the Mangamouku River; and thence along the right bank of the Mangamouku River to the western boundary of Waipawa Riding; and less that portion of Dannevirke Riding of Waipawa County situated south-west of a line commencing where the Tahoraite-Wainui Road crosses the south-eastern boundary of Waipawa County, and proceeding north-westerly along the Tahoraite-Wainui Road to the Manga-a-toro Stream, and thence along that stream to the Manawatu River, and thence along the right bank of the Manawatu River to the south-western boundary of Waipawa County: together with the Ridings of Taumumu and Eparaima of Patangata County; the northern portion of Porangahau Riding of Patangata County, situated north of the boundary-line between the existing Waipawa and Pahiatua Electoral Districts; and a small portion of Patangata Riding of Patangata County, situated south of the Waipawa-Taumumu Road; together with the Borough of Dannevirke. The Town Districts of Ormondville and Waipawa are in this district.
PAHIATUA.
Pahiatua District comprises the whole of the Counties of Pahiatua, Woodville, and Akitio, the Boroughs of Pahiatua and Woodville, together with those portions of Porangahau Riding of Patangata County, Dannevirke Riding of Waipawa County, and Alfredton Riding of Masterton County, situated within the existing Pahiatua Electoral District.
MASTERTON.
Masterton District has the same boundaries as the existing Masterton Electoral District.
WAIRARAPA.
Wairarapa District has the same boundaries as the existing Wairarapa Electoral District.
EGMONT.
Egmont District comprises the whole of Clifton County, less that portion situated north-east of a line commencing at the confluence of the Taringamutu River with the Ongaruhe River, about two miles and a half north of Taumarunui, and proceeding thence westerly along the northern boundaries of
