WAITEMATA.
Waitemata District comprises the Boroughs of Devonport and Birkenhead; the Puhoi Riding of Rodney County; and a small portion of Upper Mahurangi Riding of Rodney County bounded towards the north by the road leading from Warkworth towards Kaipara Flats; towards the east by the main North Road; towards the south by Puhoi Riding of Rodney County; and towards the west by the road intersecting Section No. 13, Parish of Kourawhero, and by that road continued intersecting Sections Nos. 12 and 11 to Kaipara Flats: together with the whole of Waitemata County excepting Waikomiti Riding, which lies along north side of Manukau Harbour, and that portion of the county absorbed by the Kaipara District, hereinbefore described. This district includes also the following islands—viz., Tiritiri, Bean Rock, Great and Little Barrier, Kawau, Motuhora, Pine, and adjacent islands.
EDEN.
Eden District comprises the Point Chevalier, Avondale, Mount Roskill, and Epsom Road Districts of Eden County: that portion of One-Tree Hill Road District situated north-west of the road leading westerly from the Great South Road near the Harp of Erin Inn to Mount Smart Road near the Royal Oak Hotel, passing en route Sections Nos. 7, 17A, 16, 15, and 14, and intersecting Section No. 13: the whole of Mount Eden Road District of Eden County less that portion bounded on the north-west by Mount Albert and Eden Terrace Road Districts; on the north by the City of Auckland to the Kaipara Railway-line; towards the south by the railway-line to Mount Eden Road; and thence towards the east by the Mount Eden Road; on the south by The Terrace and the View Road to Mount Roskill Road; again towards the east by Mount Roskill Road for about 13 chains south of View Road to the road forming the south-western boundary of Subdivision No. 8; and towards the south-west by the last-mentioned road to Mount Albert Road District boundary; and towards the west by Mount Albert Road District: also the whole of Mount Albert Road District of Eden County excepting that portion lying north of a line commencing at the eastern boundary of Point Chevalier Road District, and proceeding thence easterly along the Western Springs Road to the New North Road, and thence along the New North Road to the first road running south-east after passing Kingsland Railway-station, and thence south-easterly along the last-mentioned road, crossing George Street West, to Mount Roskill Road at the south-eastern boundary of Subdivision No. 7: together with the Waikomiti Riding of Waitemata County.
CITY OF AUCKLAND.
City of Auckland District comprises the whole of the City of Auckland, together with that portion of the Borough of Grey Lynn lying eastward of a line commencing at the junction of a street in the Borough of Grey Lynn with the Great North Road, about 10 chains south-west of the eastern-most corner of the Borough of Grey Lynn, and proceeding thence north-westerly along the north side of the said street, crossing successively Crumer Road and Williamson Avenue to Rose Road, thence westerly along the north side of Rose Road to the first street running northerly from Rose Road, and thence along the eastern side of the last-mentioned street to Ponsonby Road.
GREY LYNN.
Grey Lynn District comprises the whole of the Borough of Grey Lynn less that portion absorbed by the City of Auckland District, hereinbefore described, and the whole of the Arch Hill and Eden Terrace Road Districts of Eden County, together with those portions of Mount Albert and Mount Eden Road Districts of Eden County not absorbed by the Eden District, hereinbefore described.
PARNELL.
Parnell District comprises the Boroughs of Parnell and Newmarket, and the Remuera, Orakei, Tamaki West, and Panmure Township Road Districts of Eden County, together with that portion of Mount Wellington Road District situated north of the road which starts at the Tamaki River, about 16 chains south of Tamaki Bridge, and runs westerly, passing the small lots near Panmure and striking the Great South Road about 10 chains below Penrose Junction Railway-station. This district includes also the Auckland Domain.
MANUKAU.
Manukau comprises the Borough of Onehunga; that portion of One-Tree Hill Road District of Eden County lying south-east of the road leading westerly from the Great South Road near the Harp of Erin Inn to Mount Smart Road near the Royal Oak Hotel, passing intermediately Sections Nos. 7, 17A, 16, 15, and 14, and intersecting Section No. 13; also that portion of Mount Wellington Road District situated south of the road which starts at the Tamaki River, about 16 chains south of Tamaki Bridge, and runs westerly, passing en route the small lots near Panmure, and striking the Great South Road about 10 chains below Penrose Junction Railway-station; together with Otahuhu, Howick, and Papakura Ridings of Manukau County; the Opaheke Road District of Manukau County; and the outlying district of Maungatawhiri Riding of Manukau County facing the Firth of Thames. This district includes also Ponui Island, Waiheke Island, Rotoroa, Pakatoa, Paheki, Rakino, Motutapa, Rangitoto, Motuihi, Brown’s, and adjacent islands. Papakura Town District is in this district.
FRANKLIN.
Franklin District comprises Awitu, Waiuku, and Pukekohe Ridings of Manukau County; the Paparata, Pokeno, Mercer, and Maungatawhiri Road Districts of Manukau County; the Onewhero and Whangape Ridings of Raglan County; that portion of Te Akau Riding of Raglan County lying north of Rangikahu Stream; that portion of the Waingaro Riding of Raglan County lying north of the Te Paki Stream, Te Hue Stream, and Mangakara Stream, together with the whole of Waikato County less that portion situated south-east of the Hamilton-Morrinsville Railway, and less that further portion lying south of Komakorau Parish and between the Waikato River and the road leading northerly from the railway about a mile and a half on the Hamilton side of Ruakura Junction, passing Sections Nos. 238, 192, 191, 190, 189, 188, 187, 185, and 184, and that road continued northerly to Section No. 136; thence along the road fronting Sections Nos. 136A and 137 to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 86; thence along the last-mentioned road and its continuation, passing Sections Nos. 85, 84, 80, 79, 77, 74, and 73, to the southern boundary of Komakorau Parish: also that portion of Waitoa Riding of Piako County situated within the following boundaries—viz., commencing where the road which runs through the Manga-o-tupua Native block intersects the western boundary of Piako County, and proceeding thence northerly along that road to the Hamilton-Te Aroha Railway; thence north-easterly along that railway to Morrinsville; thence along lines so as to include Morrinsville to the railway-line, and thence easterly along the railway-line to the crossing at the Waitoa River, and thence up that river to the boundary of Waitoa Riding; thence south-easterly along the boundary of Waitoa Riding to the Thames River near Stanley; thence down the Thames River to the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 64, Block XII., Aroha Survey District; thence westerly along that road and its continuation to Waihou Township; thence along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Waihou Township to Rangiatea Settlement; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Rangiatea Settlement to the Waitoa River, and thence northerly along that river to the northern boundary of Piako County; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Piako County and southerly along the western boundary of Piako County to the place of commencement; also that portion of Te Aroha Riding of Piako County situated south of line which extends easterly from the Thames River along the southern boundary of the Thames High School endowment, and thence due east to Tauranga County boundary; and that portion of Newcastle Riding of Waipa County situated in the fork of the Waikato and Waipa Rivers north-west of a line commencing at the north-western corner of Hamilton Riding at the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 146, Pukete Parish, and proceeding along that road continued, passing Sections Nos. 136, 135, 134, 133, 132, and 210A, to Ohote Stream, and thence along that stream to the Waipa River. Ngaruawahia Town District is in this district.
THAMES.
Thames District comprises Coromandel County; the Parawai, Kauaeranga, and Waiotahi Ridings of Thames County; and that portion of Hastings Riding of the same county lying west of the Waiwawa River and the Waiwhakaurunga Timber Leasehold; together with the Borough of Thames, and Great Mercury and Cuvier Islands.
OHINEMURI.
Ohinemuri District comprises the whole of Thames County less that portion thereof absorbed by the Thames District hereinbefore described; the whole of Ohinemuri County less the Waihi Riding thereof, together with the Borough of Te Aroha; and those portions of Te Aroha and Waitoa Ridings of Piako County lying east and west respectively of the Borough of Te Aroha, and north of a line commencing at a point on the boundary between Piako and Tauranga Counties due east of the south-eastern corner of the Thames High School endowment, and proceeding thence due west to the said endowment; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the Thames High School endowment to the Thames River; thence northerly along the Thames River to the road forming the northern boundary of
