Income-tax, when and where payable.
RANFURLY, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fifth day of December, 1902.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. C. WALKER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him under “The Land-tax and Income-tax Act, 1902,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and determine that the respective duties leviable under the said Act by way of income-tax shall be paid in one sum on Thursday, the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three.
And in further pursuance and exercise of the power and authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the place where the said duties of income-tax shall be payable shall be the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, at the Government Buildings, Wellington, and that notice to the foregoing effect shall be given by the said Commissioner accordingly.

Land temporarily reserved in the Southland Land District.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Sections Nos. 5 and 14, Block XIX., Town of Riverton. Bounded towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block XIX. aforesaid, 500 links; towards the north-east by Lansdowne Place, 100 links; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 13 and 6, Block XIX. aforesaid, 500 links; and towards the south-west by Lucknow Street, 100 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 48344, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For sewage purposes.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and two.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 5A of Block XVI., Maungamangero Survey District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the east by Section No. 5 of Block XVI., Maungamangero Survey District, 815 links; towards the south by a line at a right angle to the western boundary-line of the said Section No. 5, 798 links; towards the west by a line at a right angle to the last-mentioned line, 373 links; and towards the north-west by the Awakino-Te Kuiti Road, 972 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49597, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red. For a cemetery-site.
