NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the
provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless
caveat be lodged forbidding the same within one month
from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

  1. JANET RICHARDSON.—Lots 3, 12, and 86, of
    Allotment 22, Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland, containing
    together 1 rood 2 perches. Unoccupied.

  2. MARY ANN BOYD.—Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, of Allot-
    ment 87, Parish of Takapuna, containing 8 acres 1 rood
    5 perches. Occupied by Applicant.

  3. THE PUBLIC TRUSTEE.—Southern portion of
    Allotment 7, Parish of Harataonga, containing 46 acres.
    Unoccupied.

APPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of
a provisional certificate of title in the name of
RICHARD TOWNSEND for Section 11, Block 30, Town
of Raleigh East, being the land contained in certificate of
title, Vol. xi., folio 154, of the Register-book, and evidence
having been adduced of the loss of the original certificate,
I hereby give notice that I will issue such provisional cer-
tificate of title at the expiration of fourteen days from the
date of the Gazette containing this notice.

keeper, and evidence having been lodged with me of the loss
of the original certificate, I hereby give notice that I will
issue such provisional certificate as requested at the expira-
tion of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing

MENT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the New Zealand Railway
Employés’ Benefit Society, Register No. 154, held at
Invercargill, is dissolved by instrument registered at this
office the 14th day of November, 1901, unless within three
months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertise-
ment appears proceedings be commenced by a member or
other person interested in or having any claim on the funds
of the society to set aside such dissolution, and the same is
set aside accordingly.

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the
Patangata County Council to take certain lands
described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of con-
structing a road thereon.

A plan showing the situation and approximate area of the
land required for the said work is deposited for inspection
at the post-office, Wallingford, in the County of Patangata.

Any person who may have any well-grounded objection
to the taking of such land, or to the execution of the work
aforesaid, is hereby called upon to lodge such objection, in
writing, at the office of the Patangata County Council,
Waipukurau, within forty days of this present date.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,”
“The Wellington City Empowering Act, 1897,” “The
Wellington City Empowering Act, 1899,” and “The
Public Works Act, 1894.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of
Wellington proposes, under the provisions of the
above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—
namely, the widening of Adelaide Road, in the said city; and
for the purposes of such public work the land described in
the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is
hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be
taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to
the said Council, situate at the corner of Brandon Street and
Featherston Street, in the said city, and is open for inspec-
tion without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours;
and that all persons affected by the execution of the said
public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they
have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the
said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the
same in writing, and send such writing within forty days
from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk,
Wellington.
