Fixing Sitting of Court of Appeal.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of September, 1901.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by “The Court of Appeal Act, 1882,” it is enacted that the Court shall hold its sittings at such times and places as shall from time to time be fixed by the Governor in Council, and proclaimed in the Government Gazette twenty-one days at least before the times so fixed respectively:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby fix that a sitting of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall be held within the Supreme Court House, in the City of Wellington, upon Monday, the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and one, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

Trustee for the Hakataramea Public Cemetery appointed.

RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

HENRY DELARGY

to be a Trustee, in the place of James Barclay, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Hakataramea Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and one.

to be Trustees, in the place of Andrew Donaldson, Allan Orr, and Francis Tubman, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Dunkeld Public Cemetery, in conjunction with William Phillips and John Johnston, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

Increasing Number of Councillors, Dannevirke Riding, County of Waipawa.

RANFURLY, Governor.

WHEREAS by “The Woodville County Act, 1901,” the entire Woodville Riding of the County of Waipawa was severed from that county and constituted a new county, and it is therefore expedient that the number of Councillors to represent one of the remaining ridings of the said County of Waipawa should be increased, so as to make up the full number of the County Council:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Counties Act, 1886,” do hereby increase the present number of Councillors for the Dannevirke Riding of the County of Waipawa by one Councillor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eighteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and one.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

His Honour THEOPHILUS COOPER,

a Judge of the Supreme Court of the said colony, to be the President of the Arbitration Court constituted by the said “Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900.”
