TACON’S CARDRONA GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on the 25th day of May, 1901, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at the same meeting WILLIAM THOMAS MONKMAN was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

THE TRIUMPH GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

A MEETING of shareholders of the company will be held at the office of Messrs. Brodrick and Chalmer, Colonial Bank Buildings, Princes Street, Dunedin, on Thursday, 29th August, 1901, at 5 p.m., when the following resolutions will be submitted:—

  1. “ That the accounts submitted to this meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, be received and adopted.”

  2. “ That the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the liquidation thereof, be retained by the Liquidator for a period of three months, and after that period be destroyed.”

THE GOLDEN RIVER GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the above company, held at Dunedin on Monday, the 27th day of May, 1901, the following resolution was passed:—

“ That the capital of the company be increased to £10,000 by the creation of 8,000 new shares of 5s. each, which shall rank for dividend and in all other respects pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in the company.”

In the matter of the Golden Grey Gold-dredging Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on the twenty-third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and one, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Sidney Thorpe Mirams, of Dunedin, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

In the matter of the Richards Beach Gold-dredging Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at Dunedin on the seventeenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and one, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at the same meeting Mr. EDWARD ADEMAR COGAN, of Dunedin, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

Auckland, 27th May, 1901.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Kennedy Bay Township and Gold-mining Company (Limited), held at the office of the company, Shortland Street, Auckland, the following extraordinary resolutions were carried:—

“ That the directors of the company are hereby empowered to dispose of the company’s property, and to sign all deeds and documents necessary to complete the sale of same.”

“ That on the completion of the sale of the company’s property the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1882.’”

THE CASTLE HILL COAL COMPANY (LIMITED) (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the Castle Hill Coal Company (Limited) are required, on or before the 31st day of July next, to send their names and addresses, together with full particulars of their debts or claims, to Joseph Gregson, of Exchange Buildings, Bowlalley Lane, Kingston-upon-Hull, England, Chartered Accountant, the Liquidator of the said company, or to Charles S. Owen, of Dunedin, Accountant, the Agent in New Zealand for the purpose of receiving particulars of such debts or claims on behalf of the said Liquidator.

If notice in writing shall be given by the Liquidator or his said agent to any person making any claim on the company, such person shall, by himself or by his solicitor, come in and prove his debt or claim at the time and in the place specified in such notice, and in default of so doing will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved. If any creditor desires his solicitor to act on his behalf, the name and address of such solicitor must be sent to the Liquidator.

APPLICATION having been made to me to register a dealing affecting Mortgage No. 11574, to ROBERT TIMMIS COOPER, of Section 11, Block I., Lindhurst Hundred, and evidence having been lodged with me of the loss of the duplicate of the said mortgage, I hereby give notice that I intend to register such dealing and dispense with the production of the said duplicate mortgage, as requested, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within fourteen days from the date of the gazetting of this notice.
