All that parcel of land in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 148 acres, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block V., Wairaki Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a road line, 1 chain wide, along the south bank of the Aparima River, 7550 links; towards the east by Block VI., Wairaki Survey District, being part of the educational endowment, 2895·4 links; towards the south generally by Section No. 54, Wairaki Survey District, and educational endowment, 10147 links; and towards the west by the educational endowment, Wairaki Survey District, 3350 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Invercargill. For an endowment for primary education.

Notice defining the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in the Taranaki Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the fifth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” it is, amongst other things, enacted that, if there shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be any doubt or uncertainty as to the purpose for which a reserve was set apart, he may by notice gazetted define such purpose or purposes as to either the whole or any part of such reserve, subject to the action of the General Assembly, as provided in the seventh section of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” aforesaid, define the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in the second column of the Schedule hereto from that named in the first column of the said Schedule to that named in the third column of the said Schedule respectively.

Amending the Description of a Reserve in the Wellington Land District.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-ninth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that where there has been any error of description made in any notification of any intended reserve, or where there appears a great discrepancy in the area of any intended reserve after the same shall have been surveyed, the Governor may cancel any notification that may have been made in respect of such reserve, and issue fresh notifications in respect thereof, with amended particulars and descriptions: And whereas an error was made in the description of Section No. 21A, Block V., Puketoi Survey District, Wellington Land District, which was wrongly described as Section No. 21, Block V., Puketoi Survey District, in the Warrants of the twenty-third day of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, and the twenty-third day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, and published in Gazettes Nos. 72, of the thirty-first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, and 88, of the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, respectively, reserving the land for a public-school site; and it is expedient to cancel the said notifications in so far as they relate to Section No. 21, Block V., Puketoi Survey District, aforesaid.
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrants of the twenty-third day of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, and the twenty-third day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, in so far as they relate to Section No. 21, Block V., Puketoi Survey District, and do declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be the land set apart as a public-school site intended by the said notifications.

All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 21A, Block V., Puketoi Survey District, as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and one.
