Notifying Lands in Auckland for Sale by Public Auction.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the fourteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and two, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto opposite the descriptions of such lands respectively.

Rural Lands in the Otago Land District open for Selection on Lease in Perpetuity.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on and after the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and two; and that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may be selected on lease in perpetuity only, in accordance with the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-one of the said Act, as they contain, or are supposed to contain, metals, minerals, or valuable stone; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on and after the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and two; and also that the land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on lease in perpetuity, or, in respect of any land containing or supposed to contain any metal, mineral, or valuable stone, be selected on lease in perpetuity only; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
Unsurveyed Second-class Land.
All that block of land in the Nelson Land District, containing about 950 acres, in Block XII., Waimea Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a line bearing 150° from the junction of United Creek with the River Roding to Section 2, Block XII., Waimea Survey District; towards the south-east by Sections 2 and 1, Block XII., of the said district; towards the south-west by Section 7, Block XII., of the said district; and towards the north-west partly by Sections 9 and 1, Block XII., of the said district, partly by a public road, and partly by the Roding River.
Description of land: All hilly, and nearly all covered with bush, chiefly birch, with a little rata. Accessible by a dray-road up to the Roding River, and distant about ten miles from the Hope Railway-station.
Cash price, 6s. per acre; occupation with right of purchase, 3·6d. per acre per annum; lease in perpetuity, 2·8d. per acre per annum.
