WAITOTARA-MOMOHAKI ROAD BOARD.

Special Order.

THAT a special order be now made readjusting the inscribed debt of the Waitotara-Momohaki Road Board under subsection (1) of section 2 of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1899,” at a rate of 4½ per cent. instead of 5 per cent. for twenty-six years, to take effect from the 1st February, 1900, in respect of loans known as “Omahine-Momohaki Special Loan” and the “Henson Road Special Loan.”

UPPER WANGAEHU ROAD BOARD.

Special Order.

Notice is hereby given that a special order (readjusting the inscribed debt of the Upper Wangaehu Road Board, under subsection (1) of section 2 of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1899,” at the rate of 4½ per cent., instead of 5 per cent., for twenty-six years, in respect of the loan known as the “£2,000 Loan for Roads and Bridges”; and under subsection (3) of section 2 of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1899,” at the rate of 3½ per cent. for forty-one years, instead of 5 per cent. for twenty-six years, in respect of all other loans made by the said Board, such adjustment to take effect from the 1st day of February, 1900) was made at a special meeting held at Mangamahu on Tuesday, the 26th December, 1899, and confirmed at a special meeting held on Monday, the 22nd January, 1900.

MANGANUI ROAD BOARD.

Notice is hereby given that the following special order was made on Saturday, the 23rd December, 1899, and confirmed on Tuesday, the 23rd January, 1900:—

“Under section 2, subsection (1), of ‘The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1899,’ that all loans raised by the Manganui Road Board under ‘The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,’ and its amendments be readjusted so that interest thereon for the term of years during which interest is payable shall be at the rate of 4½ per cent. per annum; and the readjustment shall take effect from the 1st day of February next.”

SPECIAL ORDER BY THE OKAIN’S BAY ROAD DISTRICT, COUNTY OF AKAROA.

Special Order.

THAT the Okain’s Bay Road Board do by special order readjust the Little Akaloa Wharf Loan and the Okain’s Bay Jetty, Shed, and Road Loan, so as to bring them under the provisions of subsection (1) of section 2 of “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Acts Amendment Act, 1899,” for the purpose of reducing the rate of interest payable to Government in respect of such loans to 4½ per cent. per annum.

I hereby certify that the above special order was duly made and confirmed by the Okain’s Bay Road Board in conformity with “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Acts Amendment Act, 1899.”

MANGANUI ROAD BOARD.

Notice is hereby given that the following special order was made on Saturday, the 23rd December, 1899, and confirmed on Tuesday, the 23rd January, 1900:—

“That, to secure the repayment of a loan of £900, raised under ‘The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,’ for the purpose of forming and metalling the Radnor Road, from the Mountain Road westwards to eastern boundary of Section 24, to join the present metal; to strike as security on this loan a special rate of 1½d. in the pound over the following lands—namely, Sections 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 37, 40, part of 41 (39 acres 2 roods 9 perches), 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47; Subsections 17, 18, 19, 20, of 48; 21, half 22 (3 acres and 9 perches), of Section 49; 11, 14, of Section 34; 15, 16, of Section 36, Block XIII., Huiroa, Manganui District: 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, Block 16, Egmont Survey District: such rate to be an annually recurring rate for twenty-six years, and shall be payable in two half-yearly instalments, on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each year, if required.”
