Bounded towards the east by the high-water mark of a branch of the Clutha River, 9820 links, 1200 links, and 2820 links; towards the south and west by a road-line, 9,300 links, by the high-water mark of a branch of the Clutha River, 1250 links and 2520 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. All that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 21 acres 2 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block IV., Kuriwao Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a district road, 1659 links, also by a main road, 382 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 3 of same block, 1794 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 3 of same block, 568 links, also by Section No. 2 of same block, 1016 links; and towards the south-west by a district road, 836 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. Bounded towards the north by a road-line, 1500 links approximate, also by Hedditch Street, 657 links; towards the east by a road-line, 584 links, 457 links, 541 links, and 528 links; towards the south by Hedditch Street, 770 links approximate, also by Ardmore Street, 336 links, and by Sections Nos. 67 and 68 of same Block, 200 links; and towards the west by Crown land, 1000 links approximate, by Section No. 80 of same block, 250 links, also by Section No. 68 of same block, 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. Bounded towards the north by a road-line, 962 links and 703 links; towards the east, south, and west by a road-line fronting the Pacific Ocean, 4820 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. For public recreation.

All that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block XIII., Lower Wanaka Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a road-line, 2927 links; towards the east by a road-line, 3304 links; towards the south by a road-line, 4656 links; and towards the west by Section No. 2 of same block, 2644 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. For public recreation.

All that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Section No. 29, Block XIV., Lower Wanaka Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a road-line which bounds Lake Wanaka, 1967 links; towards the east by a road-line, 1185 links; towards the south-west by a road-line, 2163 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. For public recreation.

Lands permanently reserved.

RANFURLY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

And whereas by the two-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section may, at the expiration of one month but not later than six months after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:

And whereas the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto were, by the warrant the date of which is specified in the third column of the said Schedule, and the notification of which was published in the Gazette specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule:

Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands so temporarily reserved as aforesaid, and enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule, being the same purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.
