Fixing Sitting of Court of Appeal.
RANFURLY, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day
of September, 1900.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Court of Appeal Act, 1882,” it is
enacted that the Court shall hold its sittings at
such times and places as shall from time to time be fixed by
the Governor in Council, and proclaimed in the Govern-
ment Gazette twenty-one days at least before the times so
fixed respectively:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby fix
that a sitting of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall
be held within the Supreme Court House, in the City of
Wellington, upon Monday, the eighth day of October, one
thousand nine hundred, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

Vaccination Districts constituted.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the
Governor by “The Public Health Act, 1876,” I, Uchter
John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination
district known as the Waimea South District, and do
declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the
said district is hereby divided anew into two vaccination
districts, the names whereof shall be the Motupiko and
Waimea South Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall
be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts
bearing the same names, as are set forth in a Proclamation
of even date herewith, made under the provisions of “The
Marriage Act, 1880.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred.

Regulations under “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitra-
tion Act, 1894.”
RANFURLY, Governor.
PURSUANT to and in exercise of the powers in this
behalf conferred upon him by “The Industrial Con-
ciliation and Arbitration Act, 1894,” and of all other powers
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand hereby repeals that part of the
regulations dated the 2nd day of October, 1898, prescribing
the fees to be paid to the President and members of the
Court of Arbitration; and in substitution thereof hereby
makes the following regulations for the purpose aforesaid:—
REGULATIONS.
The fees payable to the President and other members of
the Court of Arbitration shall be as follows:—
For every day actually engaged on the
business of the Court or in travelling
to and from the place of sitting,— £ s. d.
President .. .. .. .. .. 2 2 0
Each other member present .. .. 1 10 0
In addition to the foregoing fees, the President shall be
paid all expenses actually incurred by him while absent
from home on the business of the Court; and each other
member shall in respect of his attendance at any sitting
of the Court held so far from his home as to prevent his
returning there at night be paid twelve shillings for ex-
penses for each day on which he is so prevented, and shall
also be paid the expenses actually incurred by him in
respect of fare or passage by rail, vessel, or coach.
These regulations shall have effect from the 1st day of
July, 1900.

this twelfth day of September, one thousand

Trustees for the Punakitere Public Cemetery appointed.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries
Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
WILLIAM SHERIDAN NICHOLSON,
ROBERT JARVIE, and
WILLIAM HENRY BRIDGE
to be Trustees, in the place of Thomas Baker, Michael
O’Connell, and John Jones, resigned, to provide for the
maintenance and care of the Punakitere Public Cemetery in
conjunction with the other persons previously appointed by
His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this seventh day of September, one thousand
nine hundred.

Trustee for the Highbank Cemetery appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries
Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
JOHN McCONNELL
to be a Trustee, in the place of John Thomas Doherty, re-
signed, to provide for the maintenance and care of the
Highbank Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons
previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this seventh day of September, one thousand
nine hundred.

Trustees for the Taupiri Cemetery appointed.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries
Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
the several persons whose names are specified in the first
column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for
the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified
in the second column of the said Schedule.

Bounded towards the north by Section No. 481 of the Parish of Taupiri, 2385 links; towards the north-east by said Section No. 481 and Section No. 457 of the same parish, 1706 links; towards the south-east by the Mangawhara River; towards the south-west by the Mangawhara River and by the Great South Road, 50, 132, 329, 1091, 251, and 374 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 445 of the Parish of Taupiri aforesaid, 243 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: save and except that part of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway which intersects the area hereinbefore described: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland. |
