Reserve in Aorere Survey District, Nelson, brought under the Provisions of “The Mining Act, 1898,” relating to Races and other Mining Privileges in respect of Water.


RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by subsection one of section twenty-five of “The Mining Act, 1898” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that all the provisions of sections ninety-one to one hundred and seven, inclusive, of the said Act, relating to races and other mining privileges in respect of water, together with all the powers conferred by the said Act upon the Warden for dealing with such privileges, and together also with all other provisions of the said Act, and regulations thereunder, in any way affecting such privileges, shall have operation within the land described in the Schedule hereto; subject, however, to the restrictions that no damage or injury is done to the caves situated upon such land, nor to the bush near such caves.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 128 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 13 and 14, Block VIII., Aorere Survey District. Bounded towards the northward, eastward, and southward by Crown lands; and towards the westward by a public road leading from Collingwood to Bedstead Gully.

Rural Land in the Auckland Land District open for Selection on Lease in Perpetuity.


RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on and after the nineteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred; and also that the land mentioned in the said Schedule may be selected on lease in perpetuity only, in accordance with the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-one of the said Act, as it contains, or is supposed to contain, metals, minerals, or valuable stone; and I do hereby also fix the price at which the said land shall be leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said land shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”

Rural Lands in the Wellington Land District open for Sale or Selection.


RANFURLY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirty-sixth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on and after the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on lease in perpetuity, or, in respect of any land containing or supposed to contain any metal, mineral, or valuable stone, be selected on lease in perpetuity only; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”
