District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill, 16th January, 1900.
THE under-mentioned village allotment will be open for sale or selection either for cash, for occupation with right of purchase, or on lease in perpetuity, at the option of the applicant, on Tuesday, the 6th March, 1900.
If more than one application be received on the same day, then the order of selection shall be decided by ballot on the following day, at 11 a.m., at the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned rural land will be offered for lease by public auction at this office on Friday, 23rd February, 1900, at 11 o’clock a.m., subject to the following conditions:—
SCHEDULE.
Forest reserve, Block XVI., Motatau Survey District, Auckland: 576 acres; upset annual rental, £7; term, fourteen years.
TERMS OF LEASE.

The lessee to have the right to use the land for grazing purposes only.

The lessee shall have no right to fell or remove from the land any live or dead trees or timber, whether standing or lying on the ground.

All persons duly authorised in that behalf shall have free right of ingress, egress, and regress for any of the purposes of “The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885,” or for felling or removing from the land any trees or timber as aforesaid.

The lessee at the expiration of the term of his lease may remove all fencing and buildings erected by him on the land.
