" Sections 13, 14, all forest; partly broken; agricultural land; volcanic soil, and well watered. Sections 15, 16, partly undulating tableland; good soil; well watered; covered with forest. Altitude of these lands, from 300 ft. to 1,700 ft.
All the above lands are situated five or six miles from Kawhia Harbour, and about two miles from the tidal and navigable waters of the Oparau River, which flows through the whole block. The Pirongia Telegraph-station is distant eighteen miles, and there is a good road from the block to Te Awamutu Railway-station, distant about twenty-five miles. The two main roads through the block are now being cleared and formed. The land generally is good, and well worth the attention of intending settlers.

" The altitude of these lands is about 800 ft. above sea-level. They comprise mixed-forest lands; well watered. The soil is generally very good, being a mixture of limestone and partly papa-and-sandstone formation. The lands range from undulating to very broken. Situated fourteen miles from Te Kuiti Railway-station, on Awakino Main Road, and six miles from that road by bridle-track. The main road through the block is now under construction.
