  1. Wairau Kauri-gum Reserve: 460 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north by the Wairau Stream from the mouth; on the north-east by the continuation of the south-western boundary of Section 12 of Block I., Waipoua Survey District; on the south-east by a line the continuation of the south-eastern boundary of Section 12 to the north-eastern boundary of Section 11; on the west by Section 11 and the Wairau Pack-track.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY.

  1. Pungaere Kauri-gum Reserve: 698 acres, more or less, being Section 12 of Block XII., Kaeo Survey District.

  2. Parahirahi Kauri-gum Reserve: 600 acres, more or less. Bounded on the south by the northern boundary of Block IV., Punakitere Survey District, 100 chains from the western boundary of the Otutaorau Block; on the west by a line due north to the south boundary of Tuwhakino Block, thence by boundary of said block; on the east by Waiparaheke Block and Otutaorau Block to the starting-point.

  3. Hukerenui Kauri-gum Reserve: 800 acres, more or less. Bounded on the south by a road on northern boundary of Section 1, Block XII., Motatau Survey District, and by a stream to the eastern boundary of Native land; on the west by Native land and Section 5 of Block XII., Motatau Survey District; on the north by northern boundary-line of Block XII.; and on the east by eastern boundary-line of Block XII. to the starting-point.

  4. Te Mata Kauri-gum Reserve: 430 acres, more or less. Bounded on the west by Sections 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 3, 2, and 21, all of Block X., Hukerenui Survey District; on the north by the northern boundary of Block X., Hukerenui Survey District; on the south-east by a line from the south-east corner of Section 8 to the south-east corner of Section 15, the starting-point.

HOBSON COUNTY.

  1. Kai-Iwi Kauri-gum Reserve: 800 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north by a road on the south-western boundary of Section 16, Kaihu Survey District, and the Ngakiripirau Stream, to the south-western boundary of Section 1 of Block I., Kai-Iwi; on the west by a line due south to the bank of the Taharoa Lake; on the south by the Taharoa Lake and Section 17, Block I., Kaihu Survey District, and by continuation of south boundary of Section 17; on the east by continuation of eastern boundary of Section 16, Block I., Kaihu Survey District.

  2. Te Kopuru Kauri-gum Reserve: 363 acres, more or less, comprising Sections 126 and 127 of Parish of Kopuru.

  3. Tatarariki Kauri-gum Reserve: 480 acres, more or less, comprising Sections 76, 77, and 96 of Tatarariki Parish.

  4. Tikinui Kauri-gum Reserve: 1,000 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north by a road extending from north-west corner, Section 19 of Block XV., Tokatoka Survey District, to Section 2, Block XIV., Tokatoka; and south-west by Sections 2, 5, and 6 of Block XV., Tokatoka, and Sections 1, 2, 3 of Block I., Te Kuri; the south by southern boundary of Blocks XIV. and XV., Tokatoka; on the east by Sections 18 and 19 of Block XV., Tokatoka Survey District.

WHANGAREI COUNTY.

  1. Purua Kauri-gum Reserve: 721 acres, more or less, comprising Sections 10, 11, 12, and 13 of Block II., Purua Survey District.

  2. Mangakahia Kauri-gum Reserve: 600 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north by northern boundary of Block XII., Mangakahia Survey District; on the east by eastern boundary of same; on the south by a line being the continuation due east of southern boundary of Section 6, and by Sections 6, 5, and 4, all of Block XII. aforesaid.

  3. Kaitara Kauri-gum Reserve: 600 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north by a road, and southern boundary of Section 25 of Block X., Purua Survey District; on the west by a line running due south from a point on south-west boundary of Section 25 for 50 chains; on the south by a line due east to boundary of Maunu No. 1½ Block; on the east by the western boundary of Maunu No. 1½ Block.

  4. Otaika Kauri-gum Reserve: 600 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north by Sections 83, 84, 85, and 86 of Parish of Maungatapere; on the west by Section 104; on the south-west by a line the continuation of the south-western boundary of Section 104 to a road bounding Section 90; on the east by a road to the starting-point at south-eastern corner of Section 86: all of the Parish of Maungatapere.

  5. Ruarangi Kauri-gum Reserve: 500 acres, more or less. Comprising Sections 58 and 59, Parish of Ruarangi, and Sections 144, 130, 129, and northern portion of Section 128, of Parish of Waikiekie.

RODNEY COUNTY.

  1. Mangawhai Kauri-gum Reserve: 725 acres, more or less. Bounded on the west by a road bounding Sections 86, 85, 82, and 81 of the Parish of Mangawhai; on the north-west by Sections 13, 14, 77, and part of 107 of same parish; on the east by the western boundary of Block IV., Mangawhai Survey District, and Block II., Pakiri Survey District; on the south by the northern boundary of Section 101 and continuation of same to the western boundary of Block II., Pakiri Survey District.

  2. Pakiri Kauri-gum Reserve: 700 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north and east by forest reserves; on the south-west by the north-eastern boundary of Section 9 of Block V., Pakiri Survey District, and continuation of same to boundary of Forest Reserve; and towards the north-west by Section 5, Parish of Arai.

  3. Arai Kauri-gum Reserve: 740 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north-west by Sections 104, 93, and 92, all of the Parish of Oruawharo; on the north, north-west, and east by roads; and on the south by Section 5 of Block VIII., Pakiri Survey District.

WAITEMATA COUNTY.

  1. Waioneke Kauri-gum Reserve: 880 acres, more or less. Bounded on the south by a line being continuation of the southern boundary of Section 26, Parish of Waioneke, to a road on eastern boundary of Section 10; on the west by a road and eastern boundary of Section 4; on the north by a road and Section 29; and on the east by Sections 25 and 26: all of the Parish of Waioneke.

  2. Orewa Kauri-Gum Reserve: 400 acres, more or less. Bounded on the south by a line running due west from northern corner of Section 67 to a road forming eastern boundary of Section 77; on the west by a road and Sections 82 and 96; on the north by Sections 63 and 281; on the east by a road running southerly to intersection of north-eastern boundary of Section 67, Parish of Waiwera.

  3. Wade Kauri-gum Reserve: 560 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north-east by road; on the north by Sections 15 and 16, Parish of Okura; on the west by Sections 7 and 8; on the south by the northern boundary of Section 29 and continuation of northern boundary of that section to Section 1; on the east by the western boundary of Section 1: all of the Parish of Okura.

  4. Lucas Creek Kauri-gum Reserve: 1,071 acres, more or less, comprising Sections 173, 176, 177, 180, 179, and 204 of Parish of Paremoremo.

  5. Pukeatua Kauri-gum Reserve: 324 acres, more or less, comprising Sections 204 and 206, Parish of Paremoremo.

  6. Riverhead Kauri-gum Reserve: 550 acres, more or less. Bounded on the north-east by Section 81, Parish of Paremoremo, and a line from its south-eastern corner to the most northerly point of Section 14; on the south-east by said section; on the south by Section 219; on the west generally by Sections 68, 67, 9, 10, and the Rangitopani Stream: all in the Parish of Paremoremo.

  7. Swanson Kauri-gum Reserve: 500 acres, more or less. Bounded on the east by Section 147, Parish of Waipareira, and by a line from the north-west corner of Section 147 to Trig. Station M; on the north by a road; on the west by a road and by Section 187; on the south by a road which intersects in western boundary of Section 147.

  8. Henderson Kauri-gum Reserve: 420 acres, more or less. Bounded on the south by a line from the south-western corner of Section 190, Parish of Waipareira, to eastern corner of Section 191; on the south-west by section 191 and a road bounding Sections 173 and 123; on the north by Sections 192 and 113; on the east by Section 190: all of the Parish of Waipareira.

COROMANDEL COUNTY.

  1. Port Charles Kauri-gum Reserve: 500 acres, more or less. Bounded on the west by Block II., Moehau Survey District; on north and east by Sections 10 and 8 of Block I., Harataunga Survey District, and the Tangiaronui Block; on the south by a line running due west, and intersecting the most northerly point of the Moehau No. 1½ Block, to Block II., Moehau Survey District.

  2. Cabbage Bay Kauri-gum Reserve: 470 acres, more or less, being Section 2 of Block III., Harataunga Survey District.

  3. Kaimarama Kauri-gum Reserve: 400 acres, more or less. On the north of Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Block XVI., Coromandel Survey District; on the south of the Whitianga-Coromandel Road.
