Notifying Lands in Hawke’s Bay for Sale by Public Auction.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-eighth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto following the description of such lands respectively.

Notice of Intention to define the Purpose of a Reserve in the Township of Seddonville.
RANFURLY, Governor.
WHEREAS by the fifth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” it is amongst other things enacted that, in the case of any public reserve now vested in Her Majesty or the Governor, whether the same be granted or not, such reserves not being for one of the purposes comprised in Class I., if there shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be any doubt or uncertainty as to the purpose for which such reserve was set apart, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, define such purpose or purposes as to either the whole or any part of such reserve:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto was reserved on the eleventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, for public buildings: And whereas it is expedient to define the specific purpose for which such land shall hereafter be set apart:
Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” aforesaid, declare my intention to define the specific purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto to be a site for the house of the Railway Stationmaster.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 26 perches, more or less, being Section No. 130 of the Township of Seddonville.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
GEORGE MOON and
JOHN WILLIAM ROFFEY
to be Trustees, in the place of William Henry Wallace and Richard Galvan, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Raglan Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed by His Excellency the Governor on the twelfth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three.
