FRANCIS HENRY BRITTAIN
to be an Inspector of Stock in terms of “The Stock Act, 1893,” an Agent to appear and act for Her Majesty in all suits in the Magistrate’s Court brought for the recovery of rates, or sums of money in the nature thereof, payable to Her Majesty under “The Stock Act, 1893,” and an Inspector under and for the purposes of “The Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1882,” and its amendments. To date from the 1st day of April, 1898.

as Officer commanding the Sub-district of North Otago.

Wanganui Naval Artillery Volunteers,
as from the 1st March, 1898; and also to approve of the transfer, from the 1st March, 1898, of
Captain WILLIAM HENRY CLAPHAM and
Lieutenant MARCUS ALLAN NEILL
from the above corps to the Wellington District Reserve Corps, under paragraphs 94 and 97, Volunteer Regulations, 1895; and, further, that the commission held by the under-mentioned gentleman in the first-mentioned corps will therefore lapse under paragraph 62, Volunteer Regulations, 1895:—
