by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the fifteenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, making delegation of certain powers in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice and consent, by this present Order, delegate, but only with respect to the piece or parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known as the Puketitiri Domain Board, namely,—
JOHN BLAIR,
THOMAS HALLETT,
DAVID CARSWELL,
GEORGE BROLEY, and
ALEXANDER ANNAN McINTYRE
(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the last Saturday in each month, at two o’clock p.m., at the Public School, Puketitiri, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Saturday, the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’ notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting, and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the last Saturday in January in every succeeding year thereafter, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of such meeting.

If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise, the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the members may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a Chairman.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 3 roods 16 perches, more or less, being Section No. 30, Block XIV., Pohui Survey District. Bounded towards the east by Block XLIV., Pohui Survey District, 2121·3 links; towards the south by Section No. 30A, Block XIV., Pohui Survey District, 1160·4 links; and towards the west and north-west by a public road, 249·7 links and 1665·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Napier.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of December, 1897.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the twenty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, making delegation of certain powers in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice and consent, by this present Order, delegate, but only with respect to the piece or parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known as the Pohangina Domain Board, namely,—

JAMES JOHNSTON,
JOHN SHADBOLT,
ARTHUR ALBERT WAGSTAFF, and
RALF HARDIE BROWN

The first meeting shall be held on Friday, the fourth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight.

ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section No. 34, Township of Pohangina. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 32; towards the south-east by Section 63; towards the south-west by a 50-link road; and towards the north-west by the Pohangina Road: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of December, 1897.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the twelfth section of “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to time delegate all or any of the powers by the said Act conferred, save as is therein mentioned, to any person or persons, for any period, and subject to such stipulations as may be specified in such Order, and that every such delegation may from time to time in like manner be altered or revoked: And whereas, pursuant to “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” by an Order in Council of even date herewith, the land described in the Schedule thereto, being Section No. 50, Block II., Maketu Survey District, is declared to be brought under the operation of and to be subject to the provisions of the said “Public Domains Act, 1881”:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth by this present Order delegate all the powers conferred by the Act first above mentioned, except the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to
TE PUKE ROAD BOARD,
which shall be known as Te Puke Domain Board (hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—
