Land in Taranaki for Sale by Auction.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-sixth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, as the time at which the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Fixing Sittings of District Courts.
RANFURLY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in this behalf enabling me, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint that sittings of the District Courts of Ashburton, Timaru and Oamaru, Otago Goldfields, Western Otago, and Westland, for civil and criminal business, shall be held as follows, from and after the first day of January next, in lieu of those previously fixed and appointed:—
Ashburton District.
In the Courthouse, Ashburton, for civil business only, on 7th January, 11th March, 13th May, 8th July, 9th September, and 11th November.
Timaru and Oamaru District.
In the Courthouse, Timaru, for civil business only, on 12th January, 16th March, 18th May, 13th July, and 14th September. For civil and criminal business, on 16th November.
In the Courthouse, Oamaru, for civil business only, on 18th March, 20th May, 16th September, and 18th November. For civil and criminal business, on 14th January and 15th July.
Otago Goldfields District.
In the Courthouse, Lawrence, for civil and criminal business, on 1st June and 29th November.
In the Courthouse, Queenstown, for civil and criminal business, on 26th January and 28th July.
In the Courthouse, Naseby, for civil and criminal business, on 30th March and 22nd September.
Western Otago District.
In the Courthouse, Invercargill, for civil business only, on 19th January, 23rd March, 25th May, 22nd July, and 28th September. For civil and criminal business, on 22nd November.
Westland District.
In the Courthouse, Westport, for civil business only, on 19th April, 16th August, and 20th December. For civil and criminal business, on 22nd February, 14th June, and 25th October.
In the Courthouse, Greymouth, for civil business only, on 13th April, 24th August, and 14th December. For civil and criminal business, on 16th February, 22nd June, and 19th October.
In the Courthouse, Hokitika, for civil business only, on 18th February, 15th April, 26th August, and 21st October. For civil and criminal business, on 24th June and 16th December.
In the Courthouse, Reefton, for civil business only, on 14th February, 11th April, 20th June, 22nd August, 17th October, and 12th December.
Provided that in case any of the days so fixed as aforesaid shall happen to be a holiday, then the Court appointed for that day shall be holden on the first day thereafter not being a holiday.
