Declaring Part of Table Flat Road through Mangaioa-Coal
Creek Block to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-third
day of August, 1897.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

I N pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New
Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the road
known as the Table Flat Road through the Mangaioa-Coal
Creek Block, described in the Schedule below, and which
was made by the Governor under the powers contained in
the said Act, and has hitherto been a Government road,
shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a county road.

SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, situate in
the Apiti Survey District, being a road in width not less
than 1 chain, containing by admeasurement 23 acres 3 roods
38 perches, more or less, the centre-line of which commences
at traverse-peg marked ii., 5459·4 links north and 37234·1
links east of Peep o' Day Trig. Station, and proceeds
thence generally in an easterly direction to traverse-peg lv.,
in the middle of road, 157835·3 links north, and 200029·7
links east of Pohangina Trig. Station, Mount Stewart, a
distance of 23984·7 links from the starting-point, and passing
between Sections Nos. 9, 17, 18, 19, 20, 29, and 16, and
Sections Nos. 4, 21, 22, 23, and 25, Block VIII., Apiti Survey
District; all in the Pohangina County; as the same is
delineated on the plan marked S.G. 21034, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
in the Land District of Wellington, and thereon coloured
burnt sienna.

Mercury Bay Hospital incorporated.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-third
day of August, 1897.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

W HEREAS a petition, in terms of sections forty-two
and forty-three of "The Hospitals and Charitable
Institutions Act, 1885," has been presented to His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand from not less
than fifty subscribers to the Mercury Bay Hospital, praying
that the said hospital may be incorporated as a separate
institution under the said Act: And whereas the substance
of the said petition was gazetted on the fifteenth day of
July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, and no
counter-petition has been received by the Colonial Secretary,
or objection lodged with him by the District Board, within
one month from the date of such publication:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise
and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by "The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885,"
doth hereby declare the contributors for the time being to
the said hospital to be a body politic and corporate by the
style and title of "The Mercury Bay Hospital Contri-
butors."
