the Victoria Gold-mining Company (Limited) as a
limited company under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1894."
- The name of the company is to be the Victoria Gold-
mining Company (Limited). - The place of intended operations is at Upper Black-
ball, Grey District. - The registered office of the company will be situated
at Bland's Store, Taylorville. - The nominal capital of the company is nine thousand
pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of seven and six-

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-
RACE.
Hauraki Mining District, 31st July, 1897.
To the Warden at Paeroa.
WE hereby give notice that we intend to construct a
water-race to divert and use water for domestic pur-
poses, commencing at a point on Tarariki Creek about
40 chains above the boundary of Messrs. Mitchell and
Quinn's freeholds, also taking the water from the right-hand
branch stream by a side-race, and terminating at the com-
mencement of our present race on Tarariki Creek, held
under License No. 161.
The length of such race is 40 chains or thereabouts,
and its intended course is westerly, and the water will be
conveyed in underground pipes. This race is an extension
of our present race. Pegs marked C.
It is proposed to divert twenty Government heads of
water.
Cost of construction: £400.
Time required for construction: Twelve months.
Number and date of miner's right: No. 5702; 30th July,
1897.
