THE OURAWERA GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED), ROUND HILL.
THE Directors now place before the shareholders the report and balance-sheet (fifth) for the half-yearly period ending 30th June, 1897. The exceptionally dry weather during the past summer was a great drawback to successful working, but the yield of gold has been steadily improving for the last three months, and on the whole there has been a fair profit on the six months’ work, while even better returns may reasonably be expected during the ensuing half-year. The retiring Directors are Messrs. John Forsyth and Robert Erskine, who are eligible and offer themselves for re-election.
For the Directors.
JOHN FORSYTH,
Chairman.
