Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth by
this present Order delegate all the powers conferred by the
Act first above mentioned, except the powers under or con-
ferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to

THE EASTERN MAHURANGI ROAD BOARD.

which shall be known as the Eastern Mahurangi Domain
Board (hereinafter referred to as "the Board"), subject to
the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,--

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of business
    on the twentieth day in each month, at half-past two
    o'clock p.m., at the Schoolhouse, Mullet Point, or at such
    other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by
    the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Tuesday, the
    twentieth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and
    ninety-seven.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
    by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
    notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
    the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
    no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
    at such meeting.

  3. Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
    meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

  4. The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
    and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the second
    Wednesday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
    elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in
    the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a cast-
    ing vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election
    of his successor.

  5. If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
    time appointed for holding the same, the members present
    shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
    such meeting.

  6. If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
    the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
    bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
    Chairman.

  7. All questions shall be determined by the majority of
    votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day
of March, 1897.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by "The Public Domains Act, 1881," His
Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain
Order in Council, dated the twenty-fourth day of August,
one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, making delega-
tion of certain powers in manner as therein appears, and
doth, with the like advice and consent, by this present Order,
delegate, but only with respect to the pieces or parcels of
land described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers con-
ferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under or con-
ferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to the under-
mentioned persons, who shall be known as the One-Tree
Hill Public Domain Board, namely,--

The Member for the Electoral District of Manukau,
The Mayor of the Town of Onehunga,
The Chairman of the One-Tree Hill Highway Board,
The Chairman of the Epsom Highway Board,
The Chairman of the Mount Roskill Highway Board,
WILLIAM GARDNER, and
ROBERT HALL

(herein referred to as "the Board"), subject to the stipula-
tions hereinafter contained, that is to say,--

    at the Borough Council Chambers, Onehunga, or at such
    other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by
    the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Wednesday, the
    fourteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and
    ninety-seven.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
    by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
    notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
    the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and

no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 15
acres and 30 perches, more or less, situate in the Survey
District of Otahuhu, Auckland Land District, being Lot
No. 54 of Section No. 12 of the Suburbs of Auckland,
Waitemata Parish. Bounded towards the north-west by
Lot No. 12 of Section No. 12, Suburbs of Auckland, Parish
of Waitemata, 1455 links; towards the north-east by Lot
No. 55 of section aforesaid, 1055 links; towards the south-
east by a public road, 1465 links; and towards the south-west
by a public road, 1173 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 99 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more
or less, situate in the Parish of Waitemata, and being Allot-
ment No. 11 of Section No. 12 of the Suburbs of Auckland.
Bounded towards the north-east generally by lines, 383
links, 67 links, 976 links, and 3148 links respectively; towards
the south-east by Allotment No. 13, 4735 links; and towards
the west generally by lines, 1184 links, 1635 links, and
1370 links respectively, to the commencing-point: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on
Plan No. 680, deposited in the District Survey Office,
Auckland.

Vesting a Reserve in the Tauranga Agricultural and Pastoral
Association.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day
of March, 1897.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
was permanently set apart as a reserve for an agri-
cultural and pastoral society's showground on the twentieth
day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expe-
dient to vest the said land in the Tauranga Agricultural and
Pastoral Association:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the fourth section of "The Public Reserves
Act, 1881," doth hereby declare that, from and after the
day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule
hereto shall become vested in "The Tauranga Agricultural
and Pastoral Association," in trust, as a reserve for a show-
ground.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood 29 perches, more
or less, being Sections Nos. 400 and 401 of the Parish of Te
Papa. Bounded towards the north by a stream; towards
the east and south-east generally by the Tauranga Harbour
and a road, 475, 498, and 163 links; towards the south-west
by a road, 53 and 486 links; and towards the north-west by
Sections Nos. 380, 381, and 383 of the Parish of Te Papa,
1211 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
