A PPLICATION having been made to me for the issue
of a provisional certificate of title, in the name of
JAMES McKENZIE, of Palmerston North, Settler, for
Lot 63 on deposited Plan No. 341, Township of Whitmore,
being part Section 63, Fitzherbert, and the whole of the land
comprised in certificate of title, Vol. lxiii., folio 129, and
evidence having been lodged of the loss of the original certi-
ficate, I hereby give notice that I will issue the provisional
certificate as requested unless caveat be lodged forbidding
the same on or before the 16th day of December, 1897.

such provisional lease at the expiration of fourteen days

N OTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of
the above association, held in the rooms of the above
association, at Gisborne, on Wednesday, the 24th day of
November, 1897, an extraordinary resolution, of which the
following is a copy, was passed.
It was proposed by Mr. T. W. Bilham and seconded by
Mr. J. Price, “That it has been and is proved to the satis-
faction of the association that the association cannot, by
reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is
advisable to wind up the company. That the Poverty Bay
Farmers’ Co-operative Association (Limited) be wound up
voluntarily under the provisions of ‘The Companies Act,
1882.’ ”

the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and

N OTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-
up of the above-named company by the Supreme
Court was, on the 26th day of November, 1897, presented to
Mr. Justice Williams, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by the
Bank of New Zealand, a creditor of the said company, and
William Richard Cook, as and being the Official Liquidator
of Walter Guthrie and Company (Limited), of the New
Zealand Pine Company (Limited), of the Colonial Hardware,
Woodware, and Implement Company (Limited), and of the
Southland Farmers’ Implement and Engineering Company
(Limited), creditors or contributories of the Dunedin Tim-
ber and Hardware Company (Limited). And the said
petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said
Court, at Dunedin, on Friday, the 10th day of December,
1897, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or
contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the
making of an order for the winding-up of the Dunedin Tim-
ber and Hardware Company (Limited) aforesaid under the
above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or
his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will
be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said com-
pany requiring the same by the undersigned, on payment of
the regulated charge for the same.
