CAVERSHAM.

This district is bounded towards the north generally by the City of Dunedin Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the western corner of the Borough of Mornington to the north-easternmost boundary-line of the Borough of Caversham; thence towards the north-east generally by the north-eastern boundary of the Borough of Caversham, as described in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 99, 13th December, 1877, to the Borough of South Dunedin; thence towards the north-west and again towards the north-east by part of the north-western and the whole of the north-eastern boundaries of the Borough of South Dunedin, as described in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 99, 13th December, 1877; thence by the southern shore of Otago Harbour to the bridge at Anderson's Bay; thence again towards the north-west by the said bridge and the shore-line of North-east Harbour to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 21, Block I., Otago Peninsula Survey District, and thence by a straight line to the easternmost corner of that section; thence towards the east generally by the Waikouaiti Electoral district, hereinbefore described, to the ocean near Lawyer's Head; thence towards the south-west by the ocean; and towards the south-west by the south-western boundary-lines of the Borough of Caversham, as described in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 99, 13th December, 1877, to the City of Dunedin Electoral District aforesaid.

TAIERI.

This district is bounded towards the north-west and north-east by the Waihemo Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the Lammerlaw Range to the north-western corner of Run No. 171B; thence towards the north-east by the Waikouaiti Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the western corner of Section No. 66, Block XI., North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence towards the south-east generally by the City of Dunedin Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the westernmost corner of the Borough of Mornington; thence again towards the north-east by the Caversham Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the ocean; again towards the south-east by the ocean to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 1 of 13, Block III., Otokia Survey District; thence by a right line to the easternmost corner of that section; thence by the road which forms the northern boundary of Section No. 10 and its continuation, passing the following sections, viz.: Sections Nos. 1 of 13, 2 of 13, 14, and 15, Block III., Otokia Survey District, Sections Nos. 36, 34, 33, 32, 31, 2 of 29, and 1 of 29, to Section No. 2 of 28; thence intersecting that section and continuing northerly, passing Sections Nos. 2 of 26, 1 of 26, and 25, to Section No. 20, Block IV., Otokia Survey District; thence by the road intersecting that section to the road forming its northern boundary; thence by the latter road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 20, and thence by a line due west to the Taieri River; thence towards the west by the right bank of the Taieri River to the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 12, Block V., Maungatua Survey District; thence again towards the south-west by the said Section No. 12 and Sections Nos. 35, 30, and 31 of the said Block V. to Lees Stream; thence again towards the south-east by Lees Stream to the Waipori Lake; thence by the said lake to the mouth of the Waipori River; thence again towards the south-west by the Waipori River to the western boundary-line of Maungatua Survey District; thence towards the west by a line drawn due north to a point due west from Trig. Station F, Maungatua Survey District; thence towards the north by a right line to the said Trig. Station F; thence again towards the west by a line drawn due north to Lee's Stream; thence again towards the south-west by Lee's Stream to its source; thence towards the south generally by the summit of the watershed between the Waipori River and Deep Stream to Lammerlaw Range aforesaid, at the Waihemo Electoral District aforesaid.

BRUCE.

This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by Crook Burn from its confluence with the Clutha River to the road which forms the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 13, Block XI., Waitahuna West Survey District; thence by that road and the road which forms the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 14 and 15 of the said Block XI., and by the road which forms the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 10, and the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 9 and 8, Block IX., of the said Waitahuna West Survey District, to the road which forms the north-western boundary of Section No. 15 of the said Block IX.; thence by that road to the northernmost corner of the said Section No. 15; thence towards the north-east by Section No. 1 of the said Block IX., and by Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, Block VII., of the said Waitahuna West Survey District, and the south-western boundary-line of the last-mentioned section produced to the Waitahuna River; thence again towards the north-west by that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 6, Block VII., Waitahuna East Survey District; thence again towards the south-west by a right line to the south-eastern corner of that section; thence by the said Section No. 6 and Sections Nos. 9 and 80, a road, and Sections Nos. 1, 82, and 81, all of the said Block VII., by a road fronting Section No. 2, and by Section No. 10, Block X., of the said Waitahuna East Survey District; thence again towards the north-east by the last-mentioned section and by Section No. 44 of the said Block X. to the Waitahuna River; and thence again towards the north-west by that river to Bungtown Creek; thence towards the west generally by the right bank of the said Bungtown Creek to the northern boundary of Section No. 11, Block IX., Tuapeka East Survey District; thence towards the south by that section and Section No. 10 to Block X. of the said Tuapeka East Survey District; thence again towards the west by the said Block X. and Blocks XIII. and XVI. of the said Tuapeka East Survey District to the summit of the range leading from Trig. Station T of the said survey district to the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 1, Block XII., Tuapeka East Survey District; thence towards the north-east by the north-eastern boundary-line of that section to the Waitahuna River; thence by the left bank of that river to the northern boundary-line of Section No. 1, Block IX., Waipori Survey District; thence by that section to Waitahuna Hill; thence by the summit of the watershed over Trig. Stations K, J, and G in Block X., Waipori Survey District, to the eastern boundary-line of Waipori Survey District; and thence towards the east by the said eastern boundary-line to the left bank of the Waipori River, at the Taieri Electoral District, hereinbefore described; thence towards the north-east generally by the said Taieri Electoral District to the ocean; thence towards the south-east by the ocean to the mouth of the Koau Branch of the Clutha River; and thence towards the south-west generally by the said Koau Branch and the Clutha River to the south-eastern boundary-line of the Borough of Balclutha; thence by the said Borough of Balclutha to the said Clutha River; and thence again towards the south-west by that river to the Pomahaka River; thence by the said Pomahaka River to the confluence of Back Creek with that river; thence again towards the north-west by that creek to a point due west of Trig. Station D, Rankleburn Survey District; thence towards the north by a line due east to the left bank of the Clutha River; and thence towards the east by the said left bank of the Clutha River to the mouth of the Crook Burn aforesaid.

TUAPEKA.

This district is bounded towards the north-east and east by the Waihemo Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the source of Lauder Creek to Lammerlaw; thence again towards the north-east generally by the Taieri Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the Waipori River; thence towards the south-east and south generally by the Bruce Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to a point on the left bank of the Clutha River due east of Trig. Station D, Rankleburn Survey District; thence towards the west by the Clutha River to the confluence of Blackcleugh Burn with the said Clutha River; thence by Blackcleugh Burn to a point due south of Tapanui Hill; thence by a right line to the said Tapanui Hill; thence by the summit of the range to Trig. Station L, Crookston Survey District; thence again towards the south-east by the south-eastern boundary-lines of Blocks XIV. and XI., Crookston Survey District; thence towards the south by the southern boundary-line of the said Block XI. to its south-western corner; thence by Sections Nos. 1, 12, 30, 32, and 37, Block III., Crookston Survey District, and Sections Nos. 20, 9, 11, 12, 29, and 13, Block IV., Greenvale Survey District, and Sections Nos. 2, 7, 12, 14, and 15, Block V., Greenvale Survey District, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence towards the east by the said Block V. and Block II. to the Pomahaka River; thence again towards the west generally by the said Pomahaka River to the confluence of Leithen Burn with that river;
