No. 23; thence again towards the north by the said
Block III.; again towards the east by Block XIV., Oamaru
Survey District, to the Kauroo River; thence again towards
the south-east by the said Kauroo River; again towards the
east by Block I., Kauroo Survey District, and Block VII.,
Otepopo Survey District, to Island Stream; thence again
towards the south-east by that stream to the western
boundary-line of Section No. 6, Block XV., Otepopo
Survey District; thence again towards the east by that
section and Section No. 3 to Section No. 4; thence
again towards the south and east by that section and by
Section No. 2, Block XIV., Otepopo Survey District, to its
south-western corner; thence by a line due south to the
north branch of the Waianakarua River; thence again
towards the south generally by the said branch and Run
No. 109, Waihemo Survey District, to the Horse Range;
thence towards the south-west generally by the summit
of that range and the summit of the Kakanui Mountains,
through the Maruwhenua Pass, to Kyeburn Hill;
thence by the summit of the main range leading to Mount
Ida; and thence by the summit of the Hawkdun Mountains
to a point due east of Mount St. Bathans; thence by a line
drawn due west to the said Mount St. Bathans; thence by
the summit of the range through the Lindis Pass to Long-
slip Hill; thence by the summit of the range leading to the
watershed between the Rivers Ahuriri and Hunter; and
thence by that watershed and the watershed between the
said River Hunter and the Hopkins River to the Hunter
Saddle; and thence again towards the north-west by the
Westland Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the
Ashburton Electoral District aforesaid, the place of com-
mencement.

OAMARU.

This district is bounded towards the west and north
generally by the Waitaki Electoral District, hereinbefore
described, from the production of the western boundary-
line of Section No. 2, Block XIV., Otepopo Survey Dis-
trict, at the north branch of the Waianakarua River to the
mouth of the Waitaki River; thence towards the south-east
by the ocean to the mouth of the Kakanui River; thence
towards the south generally by the right bank of that river
and the right bank of Island Stream to the Township of
Maheno; thence by the eastern, southern, and western
boundaries of that township; towards the east generally by
the Main Trunk Railway-line to the Township of Herbert;
thence by part of the northern, the whole of the western, and
part of the southern boundary-lines of that township to the
said railway-line; thence by the said Main Trunk Railway
to the north branch of the Waianakarua River; and thence
towards the south generally by the said north branch to the
Waitaki Electoral District aforesaid.

WAIHEMO.

This district is bounded towards the north-east generally
by the Waitaki Electoral District, hereinbefore described,
from Mount St. Bathans to a point due south of the western
boundary-line of Section No. 2, Block XIV., Otepopo Survey
District; thence towards the north-west generally by the
Oamaru Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the
ocean; thence towards the south-east by the ocean to the
eastern boundary-line of the Borough of Hawksbury; thence
towards the south-west generally by the Borough of Hawks-
bury as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 69,
14th September, 1893, to the Main Trunk Railway; thence
again towards the south-east by the Main Trunk Railway
to the Waikouaiti River; thence again towards the south-
west by the right bank of that river and the north branch
thereof to Section No. 1 (P.R.), Block V., Hummockside
Survey District; thence towards the south generally by the
said Section No. 1 and Sections Nos. 26, 10, 9, and 7,
Block VI., Waikouaiti Survey District, and by Runs
Nos. 171A and 171B to the north-western corner of the last-
mentioned run; thence again towards the south-west by the
south-western boundary-line of Runs Nos. 171A and 171B to
the Hummock (Trig. Station D); thence by Sections Nos. 1
and 15 (small grazing-runs) and by Run No. 121 to Nenthorn
Creek; thence by Section No. 4, Block I., Hummock Survey
District, to the northernmost corner of that section; thence
towards the west by the western boundaries of Section No. 1,
Block I., Hummock Survey District, and the western bound-
aries of Sections Nos. 2, 14, 15, 24, 16, 17, 19, 20, and 21,
Block VI., Budle Survey District; thence again towards
the south by Section No. 1, Block VII., Strath-Taieri Survey
District, and Section No. 2, Block VI., Strath-Taieri Survey
District, to the Taieri River; thence again towards the west
by the right bank of the Taieri River to the north-eastern
boundary-line of the Forest Plantation Reserve, in Block II.,
Strath-Taieri Survey District; thence again towards the
south-west by the said Plantation Reserve, again towards
the south-east by Section No. 14 of the said Block II.;
and again towards the south-west by Run No. 213A (educa-
tional endowment) to its north-western corner; thence
again towards the south-east by the said Run No. 213A to
Rock and Pillar Mountain; thence by a right line to Soutra
Hill; thence by the summit of the leading ridge to Lammer-
law; thence again towards the west generally by the summit
of the Lammerlaw Range and the summit of Rough Ridge
to South Rough Ridge Hill; thence by a right line to North
Rough Ridge Hill; thence by the summit of Rough Ridge
to the north-eastern boundary of Run No. 261; thence again
towards the south-west by that run and Block III., Poolburn
Survey District, to Ida Burn; thence by the said Ida Burn
to its confluence with the Manuherikia River; thence by
that river to Lauder Creek; thence by that creek to its
source; thence towards the north-west by a right line to a
peak (geodesical station) between the Dunstan Pass and
Dunstan Peak; and thence by a right line to Mount St.
Bathans aforesaid at the Waitaki Electoral District afore-
said.

WAIKOUAITI.

This district is bounded towards the east and south gene-
rally by the ocean from the north-eastern boundary-line of
the Borough of Hawksbury to a point near Lawyer's Head
due south of the southernmost corner of Section No. 16,
Block I., Anderson's Bay Survey District; thence towards
the west by a right line to the southernmost corner of
that section; thence towards the north-west by the said
Section No. 16 and Section No. 13 of the said Block I., and
by Sections Nos. 6 and 12, Block VII., Anderson's Bay
Survey District, and Section No. 10, Block VIII.; thence
towards the south-west by the said Section No. 10 and Sec-
tions Nos. 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 of the said Block VIII.;
thence again towards the north-west by Section No. 21,
Block I., Otago Peninsula, and the south-eastern boundary-
line of that section produced to Otago Harbour; thence by a
right line across Otago Harbour to the south-eastern corner
of the Township of Ravensbourne; thence again towards
the west by the Township of Ravensbourne and Section No.
66, Block IX., North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District,
to the Borough of North-east Valley; thence again towards the
south-west generally by the Borough of North-east Valley,
as described in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 89, 25th Octo-
ber, 1877, to the westernmost corner of Section No. 66,
Block XI., North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District;
thence again towards the north-west and towards the south
by the Borough of Maori Hill, as described in the New
Zealand Gazette, No. 77, 8th August, 1878, to Swampy Hill
(Trig. Station S); thence again towards the south-west by a
right line to Silver Peak; and thence by Sections Nos. 2 and
1, Block V., Silver Peak Survey District, and the Otago
Museum Endowment, and by the western boundary-lines of
Section No. 1, Block IX., and Section No. 5, Block VIII.,
Silver Peak Survey District, and the western boundary-line
of Run No. 171B to the north-western corner of that run at
the Waihemo Electoral District, hereinbefore described;
thence towards the north generally by the said Waihemo
Electoral District to the ocean at the north-eastern bound-
ary-line of the Borough of Hawksbury aforesaid.

CITY OF DUNEDIN.

This district is bounded towards the north-west and east
generally by the Waikouaiti Electoral District, hereinbefore
described, from the westernmost corner of Section No. 66,
Block XI., North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, to
a point on the shore of North-east Harbour in line with the
south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 21, Block I., Otago
Peninsula Survey District; thence towards the south by the
shore-line of North-east Harbour to the bridge over Ander-
son's Bay; thence by the said bridge and the southern shore-
line of Otago Harbour to the Borough of South Dunedin, as
described in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 99, 13th Decem-
ber, 1877; thence towards the south-west generally by the said
Borough of South Dunedin and the Borough of Caversham,
as described in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 99, 13th De-
cember, 1877, to a point being the production of the southern
boundary-line of the Town Belt of the City of Dunedin for a
distance of 1000 links along that line from the middle of Ander-
son's Bay Road; thence by the Borough of Caversham, as de-
scribed in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 99, 13th December,
1877, to the westernmost corner of that borough; thence
towards the north-west by the north-western boundary-line of
the Borough of Mornington, as described in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 42, 14th May, 1877, to the Borough of Roslyn at
Section No. 17, Lower Kaikorai Survey District; thence again
towards the south-west and north-west by part of the south-
western and north-western boundaries of the Borough of Ros-
lyn, as described in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 9, 20th
February, 1890, to Section No. 129, Waikari Survey District;
thence by that section and original Sections Nos. 128, 127, 126,
125, 124, 123, 122, 121, 120, 119, 118, 117, 116, 115, 114, 113,
112, 111, 110, 109, 108, 107, 106, 105, 104, 103, 102, 101, and 100
of the said Waikari Survey District to Section No. 17, Block
II., Upper Kaikorai Survey District; thence again towards
