SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 2965, Block III., Town of Arundel. Bounded towards the north by Acland Street, 777·5 links; towards the east by Reserve No. 2966, 500 links; towards the south by Bridge Road, 938 links; towards the west by Peel Street, 525·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Christchurch.

Powers delegated to the Chertsey Domain Board under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, 1896.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the seventeenth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, making delegation of certain powers in manner as therein appears, and doth, with the like advice and consent, by this present Order, delegate, but only with respect to the pieces or parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known as the Chertsey Public Domain Board, namely,—

Walter Wilkinson,
James Stringfellow,
Patrick Murphy,
Peter Doig,
Ronald Campbell,
James Copland, and
George Scarlett

(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the second Tuesday in each month, at eight o'clock p.m., at the Schoolroom, Chertsey, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Tuesday, the eighth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or by any two members of the Board, provided that two days' notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

  3. Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

  4. The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting, and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the second Tuesday in January in every succeeding year thereafter, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.

  5. If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of such meeting.

  6. If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise, the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the members may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a Chairman.

  7. All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land, containing 30 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 2376, situate in the Ashburton Survey District, Canterbury Land District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 23604, 2720 links; towards the south by the Main South Road, 2731 links; towards the west by a road-line, 979 links; and towards the east by Reserve No. 1769, 1227 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Christchurch.

Also, all that area of land, containing 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches, being Reserve No. 3057 (formerly known as Sections 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50), situate in the Town of Chertsey, Canterbury Land District; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Christchurch.

Powers delegated to the One-Tree Hill Domain Board under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the eighth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, making delegation of certain powers in manner as therein appears, and doth, with the like advice and consent, by this present Order, delegate, but only with respect to the piece or parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known as the One-Tree Hill Public Domain Board, namely,—

The Member for the Electoral District of Manukau,
The Mayor of the Town of Onehunga,
The Chairman of the One-Tree Hill Highway Board,
The Chairman of the Epsom Highway Board,
The Chairman of the Mount Roskill Highway Board,
William Gardner, and
Robert Hall

(herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the second Wednesday in each month, at three o'clock p.m., at the Borough Council Chambers, Onehunga, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Wednesday, the ninth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or by any two members of the Board, provided that two days' notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

All that piece or parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 15 acres and 30 perches, more or less, situate in the Survey District of Otahuhu, Provincial District of Auckland, being Lot No. 54 of Section No. 12 of the Suburbs of Auckland, Waitemata Parish. Bounded towards the north-west by Lot No. 12 of Section No. 12, Suburbs of Auckland, Parish of Waitemata, 1455 links; towards the north-east by Lot No. 55 of section aforesaid, 1055 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 1465 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 1173 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
