Clerical Errors in Specification corrected.
CLERICAL errors in the complete specification relating to the application of Joseph Baxeres Torres, of London, for Letters Patent for extraction of precious metals, No. 8210, of 23rd January, 1896 (New Zealand Gazette No. 9, of 6th February, 1896), have been corrected as follows:—
Page 7, line 11 from foot, “which will bear a great expense,” to “which will not bear a great expense.”
Page 9, line 10 from top, “arberto” to “asbestos.”

Rectification of Register of Patents.
IN pursuance of an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 6th February, 1896, the Register of Patents was on the 10th February, 1896, rectified by expunging therefrom the following entry referring to Letters Patent No. 6534, granted to Albert Leroy Munson, of New York, in the United States of America, Manufacturer, for cigarette machinery, viz.:—
“By request, received and filed, Henry Edward Partridge and John Jesse Odlum, of Queen Street, in the City of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, Wholesale and Retail Tobacconists, carrying on business in partnership together under the name or firm of ‘H. E. Partridge and Co.,’ registered as the persons entitled to purchase the patent.
“Draft agreement made between Munson (by his agent, M. S. Hill) and Partridge and another produced and filed.—7th August, 1895.”

2776 The essential particulars of this trade-mark are the design or pattern of the trade-mark as a distinctive label, and the word “Sunlight” appearing therein; and the applicants disclaim any right to the exclusive use of the added matter, except the words and letters “Lever Bros., Ld.,” appearing therein.
