of all that piece of land, being portion of the
Whareroa and Tiroitiro moana Reserves, known
as "Tawhitikahu," and containing by admeasure-
ment 430 acres (more or less), being the land
comprised in confirmed lease No. 50; and to Jerry
Hayr Siggs, of Manaia, farmer.
Whereas the above-named Jerry Hayr Siggs
has given notice to me, under the provisions
of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement
Reserves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain
under that section a new lease of the land above
described; and I consider his application ought
to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby
appoint a meeting to take place between the said
Jerry Hayr Siggs and all the Native owners of
the above-described land, for the purpose of fix-
ing the rent to be paid for the said land for the
first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I
fix Davidson's Hall, Hawera, as the place where,
and Friday, the 8th day of November, 1895, at 2
o'clock in the afternoon, as the time when, such
meeting shall take place.
