Notifying Land in Hawke's Bay for Sale by Public Auction.

GLASGOW, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the one hundred and thirteenth section of "The
Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednes-
day, the eighteenth day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-five, as the time at which the land
enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public
auction at Gisborne, and I do hereby fix the price at which
the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said
Schedule.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Reserve at
Wairau West, Marlborough.

GLASGOW, Governor.

WHEREAS by "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," it is
amongst other things enacted that the Governor
may declare his intention to make, change, exchange, or
alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter
vested in Her Majesty or the Governor for any of the pur-
poses named in Class II. of the Schedule to the said Act,
whether the same be granted or not; and in the case of any
reserve made under the authority of section one hundred
and forty-four of "The Land Act, 1877," if it shall, in the
opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose
of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or
presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other
purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be
expedient to exchange any of the land comprised in such
reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one
or more purposes named in the said Class II., the Governor
may, by notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such
change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may be, and in
such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same
is intended to be so made:

Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
"The Public Reserves Act, 1881," aforesaid, declare my in-
tention to change the specific purpose of the reserve described
in the first column of the Schedule hereto from that named
in the said first column to that named in the second column
of the said Schedule respectively.

SCHEDULE.

Description and Purpose of Original Reserve. Intended Purpose.
All that parcel of land in the Marl- As a reserve for a
borough Land District, containing by ferry.
admeasurement 150 acres, more or
less, being Section No. 119, Wai-
rau West District. Bounded on the
north by a public road along the
bank of the Wairau River; on the
east by Sections Nos. 116 and 118,
Wairau West, and a public road; on
the south by a public road along the
bank of the Opawa River; and on the
west by the junction of the Wairau
and Opawa Rivers: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less; as the same
is delineated on the plan deposited in
the office of the Chief Surveyor, Blen-
heim.

this fifth day of July, one thousand eight hun-
dred and ninety-five.

Extension of Period for Election of Boards of Conciliation.

GLASGOW, Governor.

WHEREAS by "The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitra-
tion Act, 1894," it is, inter alia, enacted that Boards
of Conciliation shall be elected for the respective industrial
districts, but that the Governor may from time to time
extend the period within which such election shall be held:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the authority
vested in me by the said Act, do hereby extend the period
within which the election of the Board of Conciliation for
each of the said industrial districts may be held until the
fifteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-five.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-five.
