Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time. -
The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the
fourth Wednesday in November of each year thereafter,
elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
his successor. -
If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
such meeting. -
If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the
members may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
Chairman. -
All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land called or known as Section
No. 250, Parish of Takapuna, being situate in Block VIII.,
Waitemata Survey District, Land District of Auckland, con-
taining by admeasurement 180 acres 2 roods, more or less.
Bounded towards the north-west by a public-road line,
100 links wide, 416, 1346, 737, and 445 links; towards the
east by Sections Nos. 170 and 171, parish aforesaid, 933, 200,
and 1861 links; towards the north by Section No. 171 of
parish aforesaid, 3823 links; towards the south-east by Lot
No. 7 of subdivision of Section No. 190, parish aforesaid, 527
and 5435 links; towards the south-west by a public-road
line, 100 links wide, 1281 links; and generally towards the
west by a public-road line, 200 links wide, 424, 540, 361, 818,
779, 981, and 1306 links, to the point of commencement: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth
day of June, 1895.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
In exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by "The Public Domains Act, 1881,"
His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated
the third day of November, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-five, making delegation of certain powers in manner
as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice and con-
sent, by this present Order, delegate, but only with respect
to the piece or parcel of land described in the Schedule
hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except
the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve
thereof, to
The Waitemata County Council,
which shall be known as the Waiwera Domain Board (here-
inafter referred to as "the Board"), subject to the stipula-
tions hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the first Friday in each month, at eleven a.m., at the
County Council Offices, Auckland, or at such other time
or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board.
The first meeting shall be held on Friday, the fifth day of
July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five. -

ment 12 acres 2 roods 9 perches, more or less, being called or
known as Lots Nos. 168, 169, 170, and 171 of the Parish of
Waiwera, Waiwera Survey District, Land District of Auck-
land. Bounded towards the north generally by a road-line,
205, 227, 224, 145, and 381 links respectively; towards the
east generally by a road-line, 180, 205, 344·5, and 447·5 links
respectively; towards the south by a road-line, 1,109 links;
towards the west by Lot No. 60, 512 links; again towards
the North by Lot No. 167, 452 links; and again towards the
west by the aforesaid Lot No. 167, 460 links, to the point of
commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Vesting a Reserve in the Pohangina County Council.
GLASGOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth
day of June, 1895.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
Whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
was permanently reserved for road and ferry pur-
poses on the twenty-third day of October, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-eight:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient
to vest the said land in the Pohangina County Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise
of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth
section of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," doth hereby
declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the
reserve mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become
vested in "The Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of the
Pohangina County," in trust, for road and ferry purposes.
SCHEDULE.
Wellington Land District.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Wellington,
containing by admeasurement 37 acres 2 roods, more or less,
being Section No. 108, Block XIV., Aputi Survey District.
Bounded on the north generally by the reserve along the
bank of the Orua River; on the east generally by the
reserve along the bank of the Orua River; on the south
generally by the reserve along the bank of the Orua River;
and on the west by Section No. 21, and the reserve along the
bank of the Orua River: as the same is delineated on the
plan deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington.

Conferring Jurisdiction on Native Land Court.
GLASGOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth
day of June, 1895.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
Whereas by section fourteen of "The Native Land
Court Act, 1894," it is enacted that the Native Land
Court shall, as regards all lands within the meaning of sub-
section ten of section fourteen aforesaid, have jurisdiction
as in the said subsection mentioned: Provided that the
Court shall not proceed to exercise such jurisdiction unless
the Governor in Council shall by order authorise the same to
be done: And whereas the land specified in the Schedule
hereto is land in respect whereof the Court has jurisdiction
as aforesaid, and it is expedient that the Court should be
authorised to exercise the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the
