sent, by this present Order, delegate, but only with respect
to the piece or parcel of land described in the Schedule
hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except
the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve
thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known
as the Opotiki and Waioeka Public Domain Board, namely,—
Stewart Bates,
James White,
Samuel Moody,
Thomas Dawson,
Arthur Parkinson,
Noah Howell, and
Robert King
(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—
-
The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the first Thursday in each month, at half-past seven o’clock
p.m., at the Settlers’ Hall, Opotiki, or at such other time or
place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The
first meeting shall be held on Thursday, the first day of
August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time. -
The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the
first Thursday in January in every succeeding year there-
after, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join
in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a
casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the elec-
tion of his successor. -
If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
such meeting. -
If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
Chairman. -
All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
situate in the Opotiki District, known as the Racecourse
Reserve, being Lot No. 333 of the Parish of Waioeka, con-
taining by admeasurement 125 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the north by Lot No. 335, 3581 links; towards the
east by a road, 100 links wide, 4050 links; towards the south
by a road, of width aforesaid, 5907 links; and towards the
west by a road, of width aforesaid, 6861 links.
Also all that piece or parcel of land in the Land District
of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 174 acres 1 rood,
more or less, situate in the Parish of Waioeka, and being
Lots Nos. 82, 83, 84, and 85. Bounded towards the north-
east by a road, 100 links wide, 4628 links; towards the south-
east by a road, of width aforesaid, 2520 links; towards the
south-west by a road, of width aforesaid, 5695 and 433 links;
towards the west by Lot No. 81, 1370 links; towards the
north by Lot No. 80, 3500 links; and again towards the west
by Lot No. 80 aforesaid, and a road of width aforesaid, 2840,
170, and 640 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth
day of June, 1895.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
In exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by The Public Domains Act, 1881, His
Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated
the fourteenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-eight, making delegation of certain powers in
manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice
and consent, by this present Order, delegate, but only with
respect to the pieces or parcels of land described in the Sche-
dule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid,
said, except the powers under or conferred by sections five
and twelve thereof, to
The Waitemata County Council,
which shall be known as the Northcote Domain Board
(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the first Friday in each month, at eleven a.m., at the
County Council Offices, Auckland, or at such other time or
place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board.
The first meeting shall be held on Friday, the fifth day of
July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any

ment 1 acre 3 roods, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1 to 10
of the Town of Woodside, situate in the Parish of Takapuna,
County of Waitemata, Land District of Auckland. Bounded
towards the north by Section No. 11, 170 links; towards the
east by a street, 1220 links; towards the south by a street,
75 links; and towards the west by the Waitemata Harbour.
Also, all that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
1 acre 2 roods 29 perches, more or less, and being called or
known as Lot No. 68 of the Town of Woodside, Waitemata
Survey District, Land District of Auckland. Bounded
towards the north generally by a road, 395 and 310 links
respectively; towards the north-east by Lot No. 67, 180
links, to the Waitemata Harbour; thence towards the south-
west and west by the aforesaid harbour to the place of com-
mencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
