In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the Bella Quartz-mining Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, held at the company’s registered office, Ross Place, Lawrence, on Tuesday, the 19th February, 1895, the following extraordinary resolution was passed. It was moved by Mr. John Thompson, seconded by Mr. T. F. Quilter, and carried unanimously :—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions in that behalf of ‘The Companies Act, 1882.’”

I, Thomas Hubert Lee, of Reefton, the Manager of the Golden Lead Mining Company (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare that this is a true and complete statement of the affairs of the said company at the 31st day of December, 1894; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

WELLINGTON FRUIT-GROWING ASSOCIATION (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, held at the registered office of the company, No. 52, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Monday, the 25th day of February, 1895, at 8 o’clock p.m., the subjoined resolution, which was passed

at the extraordinary general meeting of the company held on the 4th day of February, 1895, was submitted for confirmation as a special resolution, and passed, viz. :—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, under the provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1882,’ and amendments.”

Notice is hereby further given that at the said meeting of the 25th day of February, and after the said resolution had been duly passed and confirmed, a resolution was duly proposed and carried that I, CHARLES BOSWORTH ROBINSON, o the City of Wellington aforesaid, settler, should be appointed Liquidator of the said company; which appointment I have accepted.

IN THE MATTER OF THE EVENING NEWS AND HAWKE’S BAY ADVERTISER NEWSPAPER COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the Gaiety Theatre, Dickens Street, Napier, on Friday, the 25th day of January, 1895, the following extraordinary resolution was passed :—

“That, it having been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, it be voluntarily wound up.”

And at the same meeting JAMES GATLAND GILBERD and HECTOR ALBERT CUMMING MACDONALD, both of Napier, were appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.

THE Liquidators of the above-mentioned company hereby call a Meeting of the shareholders, to be held in Thomas’s Hall, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 8th day of May next, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of submitting an account showing how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of.

THE PAHIATUA WORKING-MEN AND SETTLERS’ CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY (LIMITED).

In the matter of “The Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1877.”

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special general meeting of the Pahiatua Working-men and Settlers’ Co-operative Society (Limited), duly convened, and held in the Town Hall, Pahiatua, on the 19th day of February, 1895, the following extraordinary resolutions for winding up the society voluntarily were duly passed :—

“Resolved, That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the society cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”

“Resolved, That Mr. J. D. Wilson be appointed Liquidator, and proceed to wind up the society at once.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned WILLIAM ROBERT ROBINSON and JAMES ETCHELLS YATES, of the City of Auckland, Photographers, under the style or firm of “Robinson and Yates,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

All debts due to the said late firm will be received by the said James Etchells Yates.
