Vaccination Station, Timaru District, appointed.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, David, Earl of Glasgow,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the place mentioned in the second column of
the Schedule hereto as and to be the place at which the Public Vaccinator appointed for the district mentioned in the
first column of the said Schedule shall attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by the said Act; and
I do hereby give notice that such Public Vaccinator will attend at the place aforesaid, for the purpose of performing
such vaccination, on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said Schedule opposite the name of
such place; and, further, that at such place as last aforesaid the Public Vaccinator will attend, for the purpose of
inspecting the progress of such vaccination in the persons so vaccinated, on the days and at the hours respectively
set forth in the fourth column of the said Schedule opposite the name of such place.

Members of the New Zealand Institute appointed.
GLASGOW, Governor.
WHEREAS by "The New Zealand Institute Act, 1867,"
provision is made for the appointment of members
of a Board of Governors of the New Zealand Institute, and it
is enacted that on the first day of November, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-eight, and on the first day of
November in each succeeding year, three members of the
said Board of Governors shall retire from office, but shall be
eligible for reappointment: And whereas the Honourable
Walter Baldock Durant Mantell, William Thomas Locke
Travers, Esquire, and William Miles Maskell, Esquire, three
of the members of the said Board of Governors, have retired
from office under the provisions of the said Act: And
whereas by the said Act it is also provided that on the
annual retirement of three members as aforesaid the suc-
cessors of such retiring members shall be appointed by the
Governor:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority in that behalf vested in me by the
said Act, do hereby appoint

M.L.C.,
WILLIAM THOMAS LOCKE TRAVERS, Esq., and
WILLIAM MILES MASKELL, Esq.,
to be Governors of the institution called the New Zealand
Institute.

this nineteenth day of December, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-four.

stituted under "The Land Drainage Act, 1893":
Also to appoint Monday, the twenty-first day of January,
1895, to be the date for holding such first election:
And also to appoint Monday, the twenty-eighth day of
January, 1895, at 1 o'clock p.m., to be the time, and the
Town Hall, Whakatane, to be the place, at which the first
meeting of the Trustees shall be held.
