Notice to Mariners, No. 7 of 1894.

TORY SHOAL, KAIPARA HARBOUR.

Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 29th January, 1894.
THE channel-edge of the Tory Shoal, Kaipara, being very
subject to changes, masters of vessels are requested to
pay due attention to the lead, and are cautioned not to open
the leading beacons to the southward, but rather to keep
them slightly open to the northward, when in the vicinity of
this shoal. A sharp look-out should also be kept for any
directions given from the semaphore or flagstaff 150ft. east-
ward of the lighthouse.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.

CUSTOMS.-In exercise of the authority in me for this
purpose vested, I, the Commissioner of Trade and
Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and
annul the appointment of the under-mentioned warehouse
for the reception and security of goods entered to be ware-
housed without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof,
namely:-

Port of Dunedin.

The warehouse known as
ROSE, WILSON, AND CO.'S BOND,
as appointed and described in Commissioner's Order No. 335,
of the 28th June, 1889.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth
day of January, one thousand eight hundred and

Approving and Appointing a Bonding Warehouse.

CUSTOMS.-In exercise of the powers in me for this
purpose vested by "The Customs Laws Consolidation
Act, 1882," I, the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned warehouse
to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond,
namely:-

Port of Dunedin.

Portion of a brick building roofed with slate, situate on
Section 28, Harbour Board Block No. 1, Crawford Street,
City of Dunedin, to be known as

CRAWFORD STREET BOND.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth
day of January, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-four.

Notice of the Laying-off of a Road over Land in the
Wellington Land District.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the
authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and its
amendments, that the road described in the Schedule
hereto was, on the 18th July, 1893, duly taken and laid off
through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the
authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant
dated the 24th June, 1893.

SCHEDULE.

ROAD THROUGH OTAMAKAPUA No. 1 NATIVE RESERVE,
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

All that irregular piece of land in the Otamakapua No. 1
Native Reserve, Block II., Apiti Survey District, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being a road not less
than 100 links in width, the centre-line of which commences
at a point about 50 links from the bank of the Mangamako
Stream, distant 970 links and bearing north 28Β° 12' 10" east
from Kikiroki Trig. Station, marked A on the plan herein-
after referred to; thence proceeds generally in a northerly
direction to a point on the northern bank of the above
stream marked B on the plan hereinafter referred to:
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W. 678, deposited in the District Lands and
Survey Office, Wellington.
