Special Order made by the Waikato County Council.— Huntly and Whangamarino Ridings constituted.

THE following special order, made by the Waikato County Council, is published in accordance with “The Counties Act, 1886.”

SPECIAL ORDER.
PURSUANT to public notice duly given, a special order was made constituting the northern part of the Rangiriri Outlying District a new riding to be named the Whangamarino Riding, and the southern part a new riding to be named the Huntly Riding, with a representation in the Council of one Councillor for each riding; said ridings to have the boundaries hereinafter mentioned, namely,—
Boundaries of Whangamarino Riding.
Commencing at a point from the junction of the Waikato River and the Onetea Stream; thence following the middle of the said stream eastward to Waikare Lake, to the north-west corner of Section 212, Parish of Whangamarino; thence following the northern boundary of the said section and the Grazing-run No. 441 easterly to the northern boundary of the aforesaid run; thence by the east boundary of the said run, in a south-east direction, to the north-west corner of Section No. 269; thence, following the northern boundary of the last-named section, to the north-east corner of the section; thence, following the east boundary of the same section in a southerly direction, to the south-east corner of the section, abutting on the Matahuru Stream; thence, following the said stream eastward, to the southern corner of Run No. 279; thence in a north-west direction, following the eastern boundary of the said run, to the north-west corner of
Sections 472, 478, 449, 450, 451, 452, 453, and 454, to the Waikato County boundary; thence, following the said county boundary, back to the starting-point, including islands on the Waikato River.
Boundaries of Huntly Riding.
Bounded in the north by the Whangamarino Riding, in the east by the confiscated boundary line, in the south by the Kirikiriroa Riding and Road District, and in the west by the Waikato River, including the islands thereon.
I certify that the foregoing special order has been made in accordance with law in every respect, and, further, that the boundaries above set forth are exactly the same as the boundaries of the Whangamarino and Huntly Road Districts, which have been duly approved by the Chief Surveyor, Auckland.

THE following special orders, made by the Eketahuna Road Board, are published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDERS MADE BY THE EKETAHUNA ROAD BOARD, WAIRARAPA NORTH COUNTY.
THAT, for the purpose of securing payment of the sum of £500, borrowed by the Board under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” for the purpose of formation on Norling’s Road, a special rate of 3d. in the pound be made and levied on the rateable value for the time being of the following properties: Sections 7, 9, 10, 53, Block X.; Sections 41, 48, Block XI.; Section 52, Blocks X. and XI.; 20 acres of Section 4, Block X., cut off at the eastern end of the section by a line at right angles to the section-line between Sections 4 and 5; the western half of portion of Section 8, Block X., south of the Alfredton Road, as divided by a line at right angles to the section-line between Sections 8 and 9; that portion of Section 51, Block X., north of the back line, containing 182 acres 1 rood 24 perches: all in the Mangaone Survey District. Such rate shall be an annually-recurring rate, and shall be paid in two half-yearly instalments for twenty-six years, on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each year, until the debt is liquidated.
I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly made in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act.

That, for the purpose of securing the payment of the sum of £800, borrowed by the Board, under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” for the purpose of formation and metalling on the Mangatainoko Valley Road, a special rate of 3½d. in the pound be made and levied on the rateable value for the time being of the following properties: The western half of Section 12, fronting the Mangatainoko Valley Road, as divided by a line at right angles to the dividing-line between Sections 12 and 15; the southern half of Section 13, as divided by a line at right angles to the Mangatainoko Valley Road; the western half of Section 15, as divided by a line at right angles to the dividing-line between Sections 12 and 15; the eastern half of Section 34, as divided by a line at right angles to the dividing-line between Sections 32 and 34; the southern half of Section 37, as divided by a line parallel with the section-line between Sections 37 and 40; the southern half of Section 40, as divided by a line parallel to the section-line between Sections 37 and 40; the southern half of Section 44, as divided by a line parallel to the section-line between Sections 37 and 40; the southern half of Section 47, as divided by a line parallel to the section-line between Sections 47 and 44; also Sections 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 48: all in Block VII., Tararua Survey District. Such rate shall be an annually-recurring rate, and shall be paid in two half-yearly instalments for twenty-six years, on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each year, until the debt is liquidated.
