Notifying Land in Marlborough for Sale by Public Auction.

GLASGOW, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the one hundred and thirteenth section of "The
Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday,
the seventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-four, as the time at which the land enumerated
in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction at
Blenheim, and I do hereby fix the price at which the said
land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule
hereto opposite the description of such land.

Australian and Tasmanian Opossums to be deemed Game.

GLASGOW, Governor.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in me by "The Animals Protection Act, 1880," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby declare that from and after the
date hereof the several varieties of the imported Australian
and Tasmanian opossums (Phalangista) shall come within
the operation of the said Act as fully and effectually as if
they had been included in the Third Schedule thereto.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this third day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-four.

Boyd Thomson

has been appointed to be an officer for the purposes of that
Act within the Geraldine County District, consisting of that
part of the County of Geraldine which lies to the north of
the Opihi River.
