COMMISSIONER OF THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND APPOINTED.
NOTICE is hereby given that, by an order of John Edward Denniston, Esquire, Judge at Christchurch of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, made this day, a Commission has been issued under the seal of the said Court, under and in pursuance of the provisions of "The Commissioners of the Supreme Court Act, 1875," whereby HAMER STEELE, of No. 21, College Hill, in the City of London, a practising Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Judicature in England, has been appointed to be and act as a Commissioner of the said Supreme Court of New Zealand in Great Britain and Ireland, for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, or affirmations as are mentioned in the second section of the said Act, and also for the purpose of taking acknowledgments of married women under any Act or law in force in the Colony of New Zealand requiring such acknowledgments to be made or taken.
